Honestly I used spray paint. I made some gold lancers and gnashers as well. The gold paint that I got was for plastic and was metallic and it seemed t work wayyyy better. This pink was honestly a pain in the behind...I had to spray them black first before pink. My process was this, make cutouts with tape on the spots that needed to stay the color of the gun. Tape it up and then spray it. Then I took a sharpie to detail it. These came out awesome. I've been having trouble finding pictures of the hammerburst but I have to say the lancer is way to hard to tape off. I've bought numerous paint pens and those have been a bust. If you can find spray paint that is specifically for plastic or metal even, I'd go with that. Like I said the metallic gold came out the best. I'm going to do some team metal blue ones soon, I'll post them here so you can see how they come out. The Retro is the easiest to tape off so if you wanna give it a shot try that one first.

I think i only have regular lancers and a gnasher loose. I only have 4 loose figures, they were the first figures i bought before i decided id keep my collection sealed. So ill just have to work with that for now.

Have you tried making Anya's Lancer from th opening cutscene, the one with her name printed on it and the COG symbol? That'd look great with her imo.

Those look great, especially the Gnasher. I've been wanting to repaint some of the loose weapons I have. But I have no idea how I could translate the onyx skin and it actually look right.

I wish I was crafty like that. I've been wanting to make a stencil of the cog Symbol but in figure size it's tough.

For small stuff like that, I use waterslide decal paper (the stuff aircraft model stickers are printed on). I find/make the design I want on paint, and literally print off from a normal printer and apply them. They look great.

i did this a few weeks ago. painted a gnasher and lancer gold. actually looks quite good considering i used crap paints and a bad brush. ill post picks later

Anya's head looks like a wet mop. NECA did not do a good job on that figure.

That's actually a really good idea. I have plenty of glossy black spray paint, I'm going to give that a go.

Think of this though. You could spray gray and while still wet spray black. Then either take ur finger and swirl it on the spots where the onyx flow is, that may leave fingerprints so maybe a piece of a sponge would work good. Ya this is something I might try.

That's another good idea for this. I could always try both methods on the two weapons I intend to paint (Lancer/Gnasher) and see how both turn out.

It came out awseome. SPRAY PAINT. haha metallic plastic gold spray paint!!! I wonder if I made a bunch of these and sold them on ebay if I would get in trouble for copyright reasons....
