    Default Flash CS6 No Component Parameters

    Hello I am trying to learn Scaleform UI and I downloaded the 30 day trial of flash CS6 and followed this tutorial . I am now trying to make my own menu based off of it except I do not have the Component Parameters menu in my properties. I followed the setup guide here and I have my items as movie clips in flash, what am I doing wrong. Thank you
