    Default VIDA Genesis - Tactical Turn Based iOS Game.

    Hi!

    Got some serious advice about making first a iOS game previously to proceed into the AAA version, so, I'm making a smaller version from my game VIDA now to iOS.

    Well, this also made me make some design changes since "imo" point-click requires continuous seeing the screen, the touch devices requires "imo" another kind of time and speed so did a small change on gameplay mechanics and style to this version.

    Also how I want to keep the previous written story to the PC Version, I'll be using the same Universe, but telling how everything began, because this the sub tittle: "Genesis".

    Anyway, enough talking here are the first screens from my menu and grid AI implementation:

    great start, creasso!
    Like the pathfinding and the elegant leap from high ground to low ground.
    "tactical" and "turn-based" is my type of game so I will be watching this one very closely.

    Could you please tell how long did it take for you to develop tile-based world and pathfinding/movement dependent on it?

    @merc-ai: Thanks buddy! Nice you like it!! About the custom AI it's A* based and toke 2 weeks (I got into it since my iOS dev subscription was approved two weeks ago). Was a nightmare to implement since I have no heard from A* before, but I began by here.

    @Showster: They're just static meshes Actors placed at X x X points of distance from each, nothing special...

    Here we go, all screens together on a video, the game is getting shape.

    Yeh I've seen videos about the PC version before it's impressive! Are the latest videos still running in the simulator or on device now? After seeing how many hours it took me to complete my iOS game I can't even imagine how much time your project must have consumed.
