Nice looking pics & the meshing look great.

But I must say that yellow / orange light spots would had add some nice color contrast & lighting diversity. Even greenish neons would look nice imho specially in the third pic. The lighting look to uniform to me at the moment. But still, it look nice.

    THX for your work

Thanks for the feedback stevelois. Lighting is definitely the area I'd tweak if I went back and worked on the map to touch it up. I do believe I went a little crazy with the blue in the on the lower floors. It was always meant to be harsh lighting, but I do agree regarding diversity in some sections.

tbh, the "strong" monocolored blue lighting with that sort of violet brillance is what impressed me the more in the picts....lol...it give the feeling to be a violet raylighting coming from the "sun", it very hard to deal with two colors so close from eachother, like steve suggested it orange and blue always give nice contrast but imho it s more classical and easy to do....having a top result with violet and blue is a kind of challenge (@ least for me) and u re not far from a very good result...but again it depend a lot from everyone s tastes...
i ll try it tommorow....surbooked day

Fun map with a good layout and some very nice meshing!

I agree with Steve's comments. If you ever plan to tweak the lighting, as Steve suggested, implement a few spotlights here and there to break up the saturation of blue and it'd bring the map visuals to another level! Even if it's tiny lights to highlight some of that superb meshing you've got going here!

Bots played very well on this map too which was great to see!

All in all a very good effort Hawkules!

    Just played,
I have found the map quite fun to play
The lighting is great, I would have just put some subtle recalls of the the purple light on the "all blue" parts.
The jumpads is not easy to use at first time.
I'm a fan of custom sound, I have found the female announce cool at the first minute, but more annoying after a certain time, I would have make some variation on it (or at least, make the it appear less often or more aleatory).
I'm maybe blind but, where is the flack cannon ??!!

Good job for a first map, and don't hesitate to submit your maps for beta test here or on the UOF forum before release it

What exactly made the jump pads not easy to use? I'll try to tweak them a little if they aren't working too well.
Good point about the custom sound, it could be toned down a little perhaps.
No flak cannon, opted to have the one powerful weapon (ie. rocket) in the central room. Obviously many weapons are powerful in the right hands though :P

    A small yet beautiful map.
The map plays just great (tested with bots) and looks quite atmospheric with that bluish lighting.

I'd love to see more maps like this one, though a bit bigger.
Hey, catch me later, I'll buy you a beer.

    Cool Inspiring!

Love the atmosphere, meshing, layout, skybox, and the blue lighting for perfection (also in purple) (it's one of my favorite colors that is for mixtures of blue, interiors, nightclubs, team choice for UT, my posts in the Epic Forums, etc.). Like the holographic sun at the middle, also in pipes, vines and the "biological containment breach" monitor warning. The sounds are on the loose that I only found the female announcer very astonishing and the others are as good as a nightmare (to be honest). Perfect gameplay and the bots are good in this one. 5 stars!

PS: Just looking this map on your site and nice planning and design overview on the making; no Flak Cannon appeared in this map because it's superior, that would be cool.

Lightbulb getting back into the game

Took a short break, but now I'll get back to the reviewing. First, one of the links in the original opening post doesn't work and should be this:
    http://ut3.ut-files.com/index.php?di...e=DM-Tyron.rar

I'll get to reviewing this one soon.

    Smile good new one!

nice purple colors and orbs (I like it already)......wait, what about....OK, no problem there I'll continue. Great layout with some tight corridors on a spaceship, bots are OK and this one has some fun gameplay. Good weapon placement, although I didn't see a flak cannon either. It has good music and I liked the custom sounds, vines inside, and asteroids outside.

@zunnie Might have to go play a few rounds
