Default My thanks for RAAM's Shadow DLC(And a question)

    Hello

Basically thank you for the great DLC, I think is a great move to add some history DLCs and this one feels great, loved to go back to the beginning of the history. I'm playing it for a second time and I m enjoying it much more, first time I was always thinking on the Gears with helmet that die yeas or yeas.

    Very well done.

The question is(if any one on the community knows it), how did the idea of a campaign DLC come out? Was it due to the delay of the release where they have not so much to do for a long time?

    Thank you very much.

Hmmm, you know that is a good question.

They probably had the idea for a while, since DLC is on the disc, I believe.

If i remember correctly only the first DLC was on the disc, which is the horde command pack DLC.

That was what I thought, but Valera is a wealth of information.

I think they've been planning this since RAAM almost won that video game character competition haha.

RAAM's Shadow is set 9 years after the beginning.

It was inspired by two things: the success of Gears 2's Road to Ruin DLC, and Epic's desire to branch out and create post-release content for the game outside of multiplayer.

Well they had campaign DLC for GoW2 (Deleted Scene) and probably thought it was quite a good idea to have some for GoW3. The Season Pass also states DLC for all 4 main modes (Campaign, Versus, Beast and Horde) so they wanted to appeal to all types of players.

In my opinion, RAAM's Shadow was testing the waters for Judgment, seeing if players like the prequel and Locust gameplay. I do hope we can play as Locust in GoW Judgment

I did mean GoW not the Emergency day, although I know its between both events so wast really proper to use "beginning", my apologizes.

Well, what you saying makes perfect sense I think that would probably been the reasons for it.

Thank you very much to every one for coming by

PD: I don't want to be Locust, I feel baad killing COGs and URIs(Union de Republicas Independientes, don't know the English order for the name) :P

    Thanks for the translation.

I must say that I prefer the Spanish acronym URI to the English UIR (probably because I hear it first )

This DLC made me wish this was how it'd be for a while before the next full game. A few episodic DLCs centered around other squads. Even solely around Zeta would be nice. One for Harper, maybe continue the Valera family with Alicia's brother seeing as Zeta would probably want to look out for him.

The characters for RAAM's Shadow, Fenix Rising, Forces of Nature and Thrashball Drone were added in the Booster Pack though, weren't they?

RAAM's Shadow is my favorite DLC. Right next to Forces of Nature.
