    Default Spawning Collision

    Hey Guys,

I have a gun that spawns portals on a wall, but I'm having an issue where the portals can spawn half into the floor or ceiling or walls or whereever.
Is there anyway to do a quick check on the spawned object to see if its hitting something thats not the wall behind it?
If not that, is there a way to get the surface of the spawned objects' collision box, to do a north/south/east/west style check?

    Thanks!

    Bump.

Is there a function that allows me to grab an objects height and width?

You could attach a volume to the portal, and if something is colliding with that actor, then you can get that data.

Hmm, how would I get the portal's height and width though? In order for a volume to be effective, I still need the dimensions, correct?
