Default some interesting screenshots I took.

I started playing through IB1 again, since OG in IB2 has gotten monotonous, and I don't want to go to NG just yet, at least not until the vanishing gem bug is fixed.

anywho, I noticed a couple things and I took screenshots of them, here they are:

    http://i.imgur.com/EyK4m.jpg
    - In this one you can see what appears to be a jet contrail in the sky, which I thought was interesting considering it would have been pretty easy to take a photo of the sky while there wasn't a contrail there.

    http://i.imgur.com/L2zv2.jpg
    - this guy looks an awful lot like Ausar in the VoT statue where you get the Holy Band

Fun stuff. I also noticed that IB1 seems to run a hell of a lot smoother than IB2, not to mention with fewer bugs, but oh well.

So that means there are Jets in the Infinity Blade universe...

I wonder if a deathless uses a jet airplane to fight with instead of a sword lol.

I've seen that kind of cloud trail before. It doesn't have to be from a jet.

Err, about that Jesus-like guy, no I don't see how he looks like Ausar.

One thing I do agree, IB1 is a HELL lot smoother.

    Maybe a missile?

Nice catch with the guy in the statue, Before I was big into the lore, this guy ALWAYS caught my attention and I wondered what his deal was. Wow, actually come to think of it CHAIR did a great job making you think that it was one of Raidriars slaves and the skulls were all the people that Raidriar killed. (when it was probably skulls of Ausar's victims)

The guy kinda looks like Ausar, actually he looks like a very tired and stressed Ausar, I'm thinking that it is Ausar, with the mainn reason being the Triqueta tatoo on his chest. The Triqueta is a major image in the library room in IB2. Regardless, we will learn his identity at some point

Not to mention that the skulls would represent the people he has killed, who are know holding him up from hanging from the chains.

There's alot of interesting stuff to go back and check out (the room under the GK throne room has the same statues as the tomb room in IB2)

I started playing IB2 on my iphone 4 and it was laggy, my wife got the 4s and I got the Ipad 2. Both play the game flawlessly, i can't even go back to playing on my phone, Unfortunately the IB games will alway's be created for the top iOs device and probably always lag on the older devices, making this game an expensive hobby!

My IB1 on my iphone 4 stalls at the beginning, with the black screen and "loading" wheel constantly circling. Was this a common bug? any fixes? I don't want to erase my character..

    No. IB1 should run flawlessly.
And, if you want IB2 running without ANY lag at all - and believe me, it is possible - you just have to remove the sounds. Disable SFX in Settings and play any music from music application. The game won't lag, in any area.

Losing all those sound effects though... Seems like a touch choice.

Yup... But it works. No lag at all.

The cloud could be nothing, it just looked like a jet contrail to me. Those types of clouds don't form naturally, though, unless they break off from other stratus clouds. But since this one is in a straight line, and is wider at one end than the other, I decided it must be a contrail which forms when something moving really fast disturbs a lot of moist air leaving a cloud in its wake. Like a jet, or a missile or something.

the Jesus guy could also be nothing, but the Triqueta would seem to be a hint that he is at least important

    SoulCellDoorIB1.jpg

El, I posted this in the other thread, but wanted to give you the cred for making me look back at IB1

The soul cell doors in the IB1 dungeon are the same as the locked door in the new "secret" room below Thane's area.

Have not seen to much more, although, I was dueling the god king and three times in a row, during the "offer to join the GK" part of the duel, I instinctively tried to stab the God King by pressing his blue circle! LOL, I was getting so pissed watching Siris kneel!

that is interesting. My "Siris is a clone" idea might line up with that too. Or maybe it's just someone Ausar imprisoned the same way Raidriar did. Great catch though

It also adds to the frustation of my dead theory that Lantimore was originally Ausar's castle. Same soul cell doors, same huge door on to the rebirthing chamber in IB1 is on the huge door in the arena in IB2.

    Maybe all deathless copy eachother.

Also, I was playing IB1 again and the GK was such a F***ING BADASS in IB1.... He totally wussed out in IB2 (and actually I think it was intentionall as IB:Awakening showed his "human" side and his insecurities.)

So I'm thinking were going to need another complete BADASS enemy, I doubt it can be the WoS, he may be the bad guy, but I doubt that he will be ruthless enough to top GK in IB1.

The Dragoor, hmmm, maybe, but since he is not humanoid, I'm not feeling it.

The original AUSAR, however, if he is the "most vile" evil, could be one mean friggin dude, especially if he looks like the guy in the statue and IB1 !!! Can you imagine him breaking free of the chains, crushing the skulls, and coming towards you with that look on his face!

This would definately be the next evolution in the "ultimate" enemy

I started a new storyline in IB2 today, and noticed that Thane's in first lines He says the WoS is "sealed by the blood of th Deathless, bound by his own creations."

It could be that these similarities between games mean the WoS built both castles, soul cells included. I'd have to read th line agan because I don't remember it exactly, but that line could also refer to how the Worker destroyed the world as we know it

"Sealed by the abominations of his own make"

    From Dictionary.com . Number 3 is interesting.

    a·bom·i·na·tion   [uh-bom-uh-ney-shuhn] Show IPA
    noun
    1.
anything abominable; anything greatly disliked or abhorred.
    2.
intense aversion or loathing; detestation: He regarded lying with abomination.
    3.
a vile, shameful, or detestable action, condition, habit, etc.: Spitting in public is an abomination.

I'm guessing Thane's refering to the Infinity Blade, however, come to think of it, the WoS probably inventend Soul Cells as well (basically a death sentence for the deathless), So it would make sense that they all look the same.

Oh right, he said "abominations." Usually that word refers to a creature. Like the character "Abomination" in the Hulk comics. I remember thinking he was talking about Dragoor, or perhaps the Deathless themselves. Although it's kinda weird that Thane would refer to himself and all other Deathless as abominations. Perhaps he was indeed referring to the infinity Blade (which he apparently needed to switch places with Siris), and the Soul Cell itself. Interesting.

Why would he invent soul cells (something that helps the deathless) and the infinity blade (something to kill them with)?
He probably wanted to make himself deathless and have no other deathless around him. Or he invented soul cells way in the past as a helpful thing that made you come back from the dead, and it turned out wrong, turning them into zombies... JOKE
Anyway, if it turned out wrong and the people became obsessed with immortal life and became tyrants, he thought "what have I done?" and made something to destroy his creation and the people using it.

is it me or are our theories on the plot ultimately devolving into the Highlander? Perhaps the point of the Infinity Blade is that "there can be only one" Deathless, and once all of the other deathless are dead except one, the one that remains will have the ultimate power.

that would simultaneously be cool and disappointing

About dragoor? did the worker create dragoor?
Hey all, I am commonly referred to around here as "SAB." But feel free to call me whatever. Below are some of the guides and whatnot I have produced.

he could have created Dragoor. If this is supposed to be a post apocalyptic Sci-Fi Fantasy story, then the only way for dragons to exist is some sort of genetic engineering or something. We really don't know a lot about the Worker of Secrets, but I guess that's why he's called the Worker of Secrets instead of the Worker of Facts Everyone Already Knows lol. My point being he knows a lot of cool stuff apparently. I mean look what he did with just the Infinity Blade, and he created that. If he's capable of creating cool stuff like the God Killer itself, then he's probably capable of creating some other super cool stuff like dragons and clones and soul cells
