    If you want my professional opinion, I think you are on the right track, but you need to evolve your work to a higher level; which based on what I see, you should be able to do.

    With your current level of work, based on your demo reel, I think your best bet is to aim at getting an environment artist position with a casual/web/mobile games developer or a start up.

    Keep working on your art and check out top industry pro work and imitate the level of quality as much as possible. Go to CGSociety or the game-artist.net galleries to see what pros are doing and try to get your work to that level. I would also recommend you check out games like Gears of War, Infinity Blade, Skyrim, etc. and study the environments; lighting, modeling, texturing, sculpting, and do your best to make art at equal or better quality (that is optimized and can still run).
