UT3 Account creation

Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with creating an account for ut3 because my same email is on the gamespy/ign account. So basically i tried that account and password too but it doesnt work and every time I want to go to the gamespy id website it directs me to ign, i really don't know what to do because I would love to play it online again but it wont take my account info nor will it let me create a new account, is there any way around this????????

you can type in anything as long as you remember your user name an password

I bought UT3 Black today on steam and have sat here for the last three hours trying to create a multiplayer profile. My gamespy login is not recognized and when I try to make a new profile none of the usernames I enter are available.

ps. Singleplayer is awesome, love it!

Edit: Removed comment about not being able to sign in with a pre existing gamespy account from another game. I thought gamespy accounts could be used cross game, thus confusion as to why UT3 wasn't recognizing it.

open ut3 and click create profile.

add nickname
add password
readd password
add email
Click create profile...

I had been trying to set up the profile but it wouldn't accept any nickname I typed until I replaced the email. I think it didn't like my email as it was already linked to a gamespy account, but the new one saw me right in a matter of minutes.

try caps on after u created your account worked for me when it wouldnt let me in

I´m having the same problem... I guess since I´m registered here.... but I´m tried this username and password with no luck..

This forum password and this forum name has nothing to do with UT3 or the related GameSpy account.

To register your copy of UT3, you need to have a legit key, and a valid email address (and an unused ingame name). Just fill in the form in-game, and register (like what wikkid said).
