What do I want? For characters not to have four pointless skins.
Free lambent chicken egg
Nope, regular game is like buying a car with on the starting price, you get nothing but the car.
Old School: Show Love, Get Love.
Life size Damon Baird so I can statue him in my front door keep the neighbors scare
Gears of War I 1250/1250
Gears of War II 1750/1750
Gear Pro/Veteran since '06 GoW Hall of Fame Ranked
No pre-order bonuses. It was crap before and it would be crap again.
"My Kryll bring all the Berserkers to the yard, and they're like, I beat you on insane it's not hard" - General Raam ft. Berserker.
Lol don't be so mean, they were okay.
What made the pre-order bonuses a let down was the fact that they were altered and re-released later on bundled in with map packs.
Commando Dom
Mechanic Baird
Savage Kantus
Savage Grenadier
Not to mention the MP beta exclusive Thrashball Cole, which too was altered and re-released bundled with a map pack.
What's the point in exclusives if they're just going to be released for everyone at a later date?
Anyway, enough griping.
I'd hoped Judgement would be a back to basics Gears of War.
Weapons and enemies stripped back to the level of Gears 1.
The mk.1 lancer being a more prominent weapon than the mk.2.
The original Hammerburst(burst fire, not semi-auto) to make a return.
Locust lineup consisting of the basics(drones, grenadiers, Therons, Wretches, Boomers) with the larger creatures(Brumaks, Corpsers, Reavers, Seeders) providing boss battles and general tougher obstacles.
A very "personal" feeling game, with levels consisting of more civilian areas(residential, shopping/leisure) as well as blocked highways, and military and industrial areas.
A real sense of war, with more enemies to fight through, like horde mode in the campaign.
Edit: Yeah, I completely missed what the OP said as I jumped right in at the end of the thread.
I like the idea of getting COG tags, but for the Limited Edition not just the Epic Edition.
Art book would be cool, and maybe an exclusive MP character.
And how about an actual, physical manual?
I mean, the GoW3 thing was laughable.
Game manuals have so much potential.
They can give you a bit of back-story to the game, bios on characters and information on different weapons, as well as the usual controls and other settings.

If I trash Gears its because I Love Gears
Thanks to Ant Heuser for offering Jungle Tai code (its the thought that counts)

I would hope for no more skins, only four characters and last but not least one shotgun.

I wish this game was not coming out. That is what I want from judgement. Never thought I would see the day when gears would start pulling the whole sub title shenanigans ala call of duty and halo. Please don't drive this franchise into the ground. Would much rather have gotten fortnite this gen and waited for gears 4 on the new Xbox. Saddens me deeply. At least epic made the level caps and seriously achievements serious enough to not warrant buying this game. Sorry just can't get excited for this one and gears is one of my fav franchises. Trying to keep an open mind....but so far this new game is doing nothing for me. Anyone else agree?

I kind of get where you're coming from.
I was excited when it was first announced, but then I heard that a lot of the story elements were being pretty much re-written.
I was lead to believe that seeing as she worked on Gears of War 3, Karen Traviss' stories were official canon.
I've spend a good 6 or 7 months reading and enjoying the books and seeing how her stories were made to fit around the existing ones, as well as expand on the history prior to not only Gears 1 and the history of the Pendulum Wars.
And now it would seem that Judgement is throwing all that out.
I was also hoping, as I said in my previous post, for a scaled back Gears.
Less variation in enemies.
Seeing as this is early on in the Locust war I'd have thought the vast menagerie wouldn't have been used right away.
I love Gears of War, the campaign far more than the multiplayer, and I was hoping for something that sat neatly with everything else that has already been released.
I fear that my hopes will be dashed.
If you guys think about it they could make Judgement as a prototype for Gears of War 4. They could be trying stuff out that they couldn't in Gears of War 3; at least in the multiplayer aspect and make Gears of War 4 the last and best Gears of War on the unreal engine 4 or 5.
