    Default Nat Problems

Has Anybody had any problem with connecting with other people. I can't seem to join a party, and both our nat types are open.

    Your firewalls up?
Does your/his router have inbuilt safety features you could possibly turn off?
If you could get a visual of your settings it would help.

It could be your internet. Mine sometimes has periods of time where it is really bad and then it eventually fixes itself. Just give it some time.

When I had a restricted nat I could not go to other ones that had it also. But, soon as I got this net gear that cost me like 250, I never had a restricted nat. (I had crisco before you can open your nat just YouTube it.)

Try disabling some of the security features (firewalls, ect) and restart your modem/router.
If the problem continues, then contact your ISP. I could help you further, but modems operate differently, unless you have the same model as me, which is unlikely.

http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...ed-12-18-2011) this might help or try "rebooting" your router.

No you have to do a port range triggering to get rid of the NAT issue.
