Last Man Out Ribbon Not Appearing

Hello,

I haven't had a last man out ribbon appear for me in guardian or koth for some time now. Is this a known glitch that is occurring, or does it not show up on guardian or what? Thanks.

Guardian in Gears 3 is a modification of the CTL game type. There's no real way to be a last man out in CTL (leader is always supposed to be alive) or KOTH (only team member alive when the capture counter finishes?), and that carried over to Guardian from CTL.

normaly only on execution or on warzone, if you follow an onyx medal guide you should see some info of it... cheers

Last man Out only appears in Execution, Warzone and TDM.

Last Man Out cannot be earned in King of the Hill because it is a respawn gametype. It does not appear in Guardian because it is a modified version of Capture the Leader, which is also a respawn gametype. The fact that it doesn't appear in Guardian is an oversight by Epic as they did not put it into CtL (they did not expect leaders to be able to die when making it).

10-4. i wasn't thinking clearly about koth when i posted that, so of course it wouldn't appear there. but i was confused about why it wasn't appearing in guardian. thanks.

Exactly. No luck for this ribbon, it doesn't work in Guardian.

You still get 'Best man', that doesn't makes sense, you can't win Best man in CTL

good point, but i think i can answer this.

the programming for checking what ribbons are earning are not always in the same area. the programming that checks for a last man out never loads, because the game thinks it doesnt need it. the programming for checking if you earned better man, however, most likely loads when the game sees a sudden death.
