Bring back some old Maps

Would like to see Security, Ruins and River on GOW3...I loved these maps on GOW2.

Sorry to say, but its not going to happen now. Its been officially announced that there will be no further DLC for Gears 3.

Bummer.....you would have thought that would be an easy way for Epic to make more money.....the games not that old. Are you listening Epic?

yes but judgement is why.

Its easy to forget just how much DLC we have for Gears 3 already because we got it all so quickly. There are many things most of us would like to see return from past games but its not possible to include everything.

I'm sure there has already been lots of call for Skorge....where the hell is he? Presume we may see him in Judgement. We will probably all be screaming for GOW3 maps in Judgement also....they should try and bring all maps from all 3 episodes for Judgement....would be cool.

Hey, I still would love War Machine but I know its not happening. I am however greatful for all we do have and choose to focus on that

See that's the thing, if we want a good old dose of nostalgia we can always throw in a prior game and get our fix. This is why I want Judgment to have its own maps, I want it to have its own nostalgia in years to come. Each Gears title holds a place in our hearts for different reasons, its part of what makes Gears so epic. Every game has something we love and feel we cannot live without, then the next title has yet something else we love about it.

Actually...having gone back and played the maps in GOW2....I still want them in GOW3....would be good if you could add each map as a DLC if you wanted it. Maybe for Judgement?.......back to being greedy.

The reason many weren't was due to technical issues. They have to be completely redesigned and reskinned due to changes in the engine. In many cases they apparently would simply crash during testing while loading them up, bugs, memory issues. It's not as simple as loading them up. Everything needs redone down to the over itself. They need some redesigns due to new modes they weren't made for and gameplay weapon changes.

In short, it was a pain and wouldn't work in many cases.

I would also love river from GoW2 but if they're putting their time into working on Judgement I wont be too unhappy.
