Error while installing UDk on Win 7: CLR-Error 80004005

Hi,
When I try to install UDK(May 2012) I get the starting screnn for a few seconds and the I get the Error:
CLR-Error 80004005 Program will terminate
I tried all kind of Compatibility settings but none worked for me.
Hope sbd can help me

Get an Md5 of your download and compare it with the website's one and see if they match,

download the udk installer again and retry

yeah do as geodav said and if it does not correct the problem you'll do an md5 checksum i'll explain what it is if you get to it,

now when you finished installing it click on it, you'll get a small window click on select files to calculate and select the UDK installation exe the exe you downloaded from the UDK website, wait a minute and you'll get your md5 then compare it with the website's md5, here's the website's link look for your UDK version and compare your md5,

Yes they are exactly the same...what does that mean?

Well it means the download is not corrupt, i presume this must be hardware related, can you post your pc specs here ?

I read somewhere tha clr 80004005 is somehow caused by .net Framework, could that be a problem?

I reckon it could, and also your pc is capable of running UDK, aye i think it is i also read that somewhere right now i'm not sure it's related but you could still try to reinstall it, and see how it goes,

if i remember rightly one of the older udk versions require a .net update so it might be a good idea to do that first then try to install
