My UDK will not install

I cannot seem to install the may 2012 beta every time i run udk with all my antivirus off and UAC disabled running as admin etc it shows me this for 3 seconds (http://i.imgur.com/xKRU7.jpg) then closes without any error messages. Please help ive tried looking through these forums for answers before posting but no luck.

I've had it installed before but this time around it just wont install anymore

Get an Md5 of your download and compare it with what the website shows http://www.unrealengine.com/udk/downloads if it's not the same your download is corrupt,

Alright try to reinstall UDK, and this time see if it still open in the processes to check that, right click on your taskbar click on start task manager, then click on processes check for Built with UDK, if it is not there then it closes by itself, try to download another version and see if it does the same,

I tried to reinstall this is how i get the error
the process shows up then disappears along with everything else related to UDK

this error happens with both the versions of UDK that i tried to install
i get the same results from using both current and previous versions at the moment

i did. i get the same error as above the process disappears then UNSETUP error comes up

In windows8 I have to right click on the Editor shortcut and choose "Run with Graphics Processor > High-Performance NVIDIA processor" to launch UDK.
Then it works fine, otherwise it crashes immediately after launch. This is even while the NVIDIA settings specify the Nvidia processor to be used by default instead of the Intel integrated one...

Have you installed any dodgy registry cleaner ? have you got an antivirus for example norton 360 to check for registry errors ?

yes i had errors cant list anything specific though.

it always fixes them for me.

When you install UDK does it run in Administrator mode ? also are you on Admin session ? could you try to install a really old version of UDK ?

you're asking me to do what i've done a thousand times... i'm here because i've tried everything and looked around on the forums for a fix that i cannot find

can i get some advanced help?

Just check that you have .net installed and if you go to event viewer look for the crash in there and see what the attached files are

i cant tell to be honest i've had lots of font glitches on my firefox

If you go to the Faulting application path then open install data you can open eula.int.rtf and see if wordpad can open it

Since you mentioned that you have registry errors when i asked you to check, normally you should not have registry errors, i would suggest to try this on another pc if you have another one,

The Registry error should not cause any problems un setup is written in c sharp
So when it crashes you don't see the Splash screen the splash screen extracts unsetup and ue3redist
If you ran ue3redist and made sure it runs without error then you could just copy the udk folder and it should run
Also does this happen with udk games

if i had another pc and it worked on there i wouldnt be asking for help now. I fixed the registry errors when i scanned........

Post the list of regestory errors that got fixed you have and what amount of disk space do you have left
On the website it says there is a rescue centre that should have made a backup before fixing the regestory
