Same here, it just seems that I'm the bad guy now since I said that humping is a sound strategy to make your opponents predictable and foolish.

i actually agree with you if it helps win the game then do it, plus there is no respect in this game between so called fellow gear heads, i hate you, you hate me attitude is all your going to find in koth. when was the last time someone sent you a good game msg? and when was the last hate mail ? the latter is more frequent i believe

Why is it when i play with randoms they never seem to understand the game objective. I recently played Koth got 17 ring captures and still lost the game, my team mates highest captures were 3!

This isnt directed to you guys on the forums just a rant over some of the players you really dont want on your team. I always will go for the objective, unless I play warzone, execution,TDM etc. I obviously still get the kills in koth but I feel whats the point in playing Koth if you dont go for the ring?

(I talked to the guy who got 3 caps and he said, "I couldnt get to the ring enough" fair reply but really!?

Are you the person who will go for that objective no matter what, tell me your "random team mate" experiences.

Few caps does not mean you haven't gone for the objective though :P If I see two or more teammates cap the ring, I might find a spot where I can provide support fire

You can definitely help the team without capping the ring yourself by staying nearby and providing support fire or killing enemy players. The OP's complaint was more like the last part of your post. People that don't do anything to help the team. Just sitting somewhere or running around randomly.

I played against you on academy once, yeah you seemed like you wanted to get the ring as I remember... I guess players will play how that want to though, for kills or captures.

yeah i always try to the get the ring. if i played against you before it prob be a good game but i cant remember who i played against from time to time coz i play against a lot of people and it hard to remember every gamertag lol

Fyi for people wanting xp. Ur average kill is prob worth 100 points. A cap is worth 300 points. U better get that cap. Im the yelling in mic hold on a sec im coming and dive in for those points. Heck even a brk is 100 points and u dont even have to work for that. Thats how I mvp constantly. 10 caps is worth more than some ppls score at end. If ur having problems getting there find the guy who knows what he is doing and be his wingman. 2 guns will always be better than 1. This alone will improve ur game.

Exactly this, get them caps got more chance of getting MVP thats what I go for whenever I play, not a try hard just a natural habit of mine. I get randoms and mates asking how I get so many points...get the ring its 300 points a time.

Well capturing is the objective but some people are better at killing then capping so as long as they did their job as killing then you could've kept the caps longer by making them wait for spawning and getting to the ring.. Those were just bad randoms.. Unless you tried capping alone which is a bad idea because you will get raped when 2 or 3 of them spawn and go after you..

17 caps isnt what i call a bad idea, the best my team mates got was 3! It was pretty much either I got the caps or my team wouldnt of even bothered.

Sometimes I tea bag to be sure to offset his respawn. Dont kill him til his buddies spawn. Yeah im dirty like that. Do u want 3 or 4 people rushing u or 5 lmao.

I've had matches where I get MVP, Smooth Operator, Eyes on the Prize, the most caps, and STILL lost. Those matches are painful.

Bots are noticeably terrible about caps. I commonly see them standing right at the edge of an enemy controlled cap, and refusing to break it.

Same here. I'll always get 15 caps on average but all my teammates seem to get only 3-5 caps a match. It makes me wonder what the hell they were doing all the time.

Or they seem to think it's TDM without a deathpool :/
