Yes, still having these issues and have tried to uninstall, clean registry and have run a/v programs to make sure there is no infections and clean reinstalled program and still haveing the same issue as before, and can only access the UDK through the front end. I wish I still had the earlier version I had, I can't remember which one it was, I think it was like Feb or March version, it was around that time when I got my UDK, then when I got the news of the July one with the perforce in it i put that on the computer and deleted the old setup.exe. I also have another issue as well, it is with the Perforce, the Server installs okay, but the client won't install, it keeps crashing on install, so I don't know what is going on there either, that issue has been going as long as this one has, so I am wondering if they could be related somehow. But I doubt it.

If you need a full spec of my system, I can give it, I can tell you it is all new and up to date and all the O/S, video card, sound and all is up to date with the updates too. Basic sys info, AMD B55 quadcore, Asus m5a97 evo/pro MB, nVidia 550 gtx card, 12 gigs crucial 1066 ram. 2 terrabyte hd

No that shouldn't be related to your pc, that might be silly but did you try an md5 checksum ? maybe the download is corrupt although i think a corrupted download won't even install the software so nevermind, i guess the only solution is to go back to using those old versions of UDK.

I checked the MD5 checksum and they matched, now if i can find a download of the older version i had, then I will go back, but till then I will deal with the issue for now, at least I can acess the 32 bit and I can have anyone who works with me on the game I am working on to use that version too, till I can either figure out why it isn't working or a fix comes out for this version, I also have a question, does the engine work in Linux, or a download for Linux, or would I have to load it into Wine or have to make a virtual machine with Windows in it? I am thinking of going back to linux and using that environment for my computing again, actually it is my personal preference for an O/S. Thanks for all the help you have given and hope to continue to get, when I get something solid done and into the engine I will be posting for others to work on my project too. Again thanks for the help.
