My gears won't work I will get to the updating menus load and it freezes but still plays the music I checked its not scratched

Try clearing the cache and re-downloading the update. Worked for me.

Sounds like your player data file was corrupted (maybe just partially), got a backup? If not, you could just delete it and it will reload from the server, but most likely (if you started a match) that one is corrupted too.

OK tell me what it sounds like I lost ivory,impossible and flak got deranked but I still have all of my medals just as they were Saturday and no I never bothered about a backup I should have seen it coming but oh well it'd not like the games different its just number and colors

Did you get those after you re-upped? Maybe the top 4k (from 64 to 68 that comes with a re-up) got corrupted. Unless you can recover your gt on a console you played on lately (then play a match on that console), then you probably lost it all, consider yourself lucky it wasn't a complete reset.
