SANDBAAAAAR.which pisses me off, i enjoy the mix up of sandbar (big and open) but it seems way too often teams will just camp the sides, the entirrre match. especially that damn sniper cove, theyll go up their and just hide the whooolllle match, ****inng campers in gears. cracks me up....the best matches are where its just mayhem fighting for the high middle grounds.

It used to be Escalation then Rustlung but fortunately the curse wore off. I wouldn't quit just because it's a certain map, it more depends on your team I guess (I play with randoms a lot).

And I quite like blood drive, but I seem to be in the minority with that. ._. But someone has to win on it, right? (don't lynch me please)

For me , i would say its TRENCHES, but i think its because i also HATE it so much. Everytime it pops up, i quit before the map even starts. I don't know its just something about it, the set up, weapons. IT'S JUST A SHT MAP IMO.

I forgot Overpass. Overpass is also like that for me. But more commonly on that map am I stuck with a team full of the 4 stupidest players online. I mean this guy is a red level 60 somethin, it's him versus the last guy, he's got two grenades. Tosses one and dives right into it.

sounds about right. I'd usually push for the top and get killed, watch the team mate camera, all 4 of them went in the opposite direction to the torque bow or boomshot, very frustrating

Sandbar, I think most of the Gears 3 disk maps were designed for TDM instead and that why they suck for nearly everything else, oh and Escalation...

why doesn't it work? It isn't the high ground if that's what you mean. It's the 2nd high(est) ground, and it can be easily overrunned.

Pretty much the same for me. I can carry my team to a win, but not every game. The map doesn't really matter. I hate Escalation and of course Overpass, but I still win most of the time on those maps.

When alone: Anvil (randoms just don't get this map!)
When in-clan: Bullet Marsh (the boomshot just off throws the entire map! Someone always camps it and if you mess up the inital push, you lose)
