It's a side effect of CSHD and is for the better.
It can be annoying but the game would be worse without it.

It's the same as any concept in conflict, you need to practice hitting without being hit.
An example would be sword play: successfully striking your opponent will not necessary stop them striking you if you have not cut off the line.
Obviously guns make this a little difficult because you can't "cut off lines" but that's what cover is for.
I rather enjoy it. I like it when we kill each other but I get a headshot.

Whaaaat?????? Give up killing people while dbno. I agree with dedicated servers the update really no longer is necessary. There isn't the lag there that was present in gears 2 which this was implemented for.

The problem is we aren't blasting each other in the face at the same time. Somebody always shoots first end of story. Like i said epic implemented this in what tu6 or maybe 5 for gears 2. To help fix their lagfest. Lag is no longer a problem. A server should be able to determine the real winner every time. Gears 1 wasnt to laggy (mostly do to being able to choose ur connection) it played fine without the update. The update is a lag compensator and shouldnt be present in a virtually lag free game.

Not end of story, just because you've shot someone doesn’t mean they haven't shot you, yes you may have pulled the trigger first but that doesn’t cut off their line so you better hope you’ve stopped their trigger finger.The problem is we aren't blasting each other in the face at the same time. Even if you one hit kill the person there is a possibility the muscles will still tense up and shoot you.
Of course we'd need someone with a background in medical science to give us the run down of situations in which the muscles would still tense around the trigger as you die but it’s a safer assumption that “first to hit” doesn’t assure safety.
so u support my theory then that i get updated by a dead guy. How bout we just say when i killed him he dropped the gun and it went off and killed me.

Online gaming isn't perfect. If you want a more precise gaming experience then either play on LAN or play the campaign.
I have no problem with trading kills except when the delay is really long. There have been times where I killed a guy and started walking away before dying. That shouldn't happen. The window for trading is too large right now. It should still be possible, but the time frame needs to be shorter. If the kill shots are more than a half second apart according to the server, then the one that came second should be negated IMO.

It wont be removed but i agree it should be improved, so many times there should be an update but im the only one that dies
i hate updates their so unreal whats the odds really that your shooting simultaneously and when you update yoy can clearly hear whos shot came first

Also the Locust are not aliens, they have lived underneath Sera for years.
There is no way to tell who really shot first, CSHD registers both shots going off and it can result in a kill trade. It may look dumb at times but just because someone was taken out doesn't mean his/her shot before death is eliminated from existence.
