Is it possible to implement something where; when you reach the edge of the 10k/10k map you enter a 'transition zone' while another 10k/10k map loads in the background then dumps the player at the corresponding edge of the next map. (with no loading screens)
I figure the 'transition zone' should either have very little in it, or share all assets with both maps, but i don't know how you might go about setting something like this up, maybe it could be done with level streaming?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
