Never. I'd rather run around with no ammo then pick up a SOS (as I have done on several occasions). Seems like a troll move to me.

I disagree with your pistol statement. I run into what i've dubbed "snub warriors" everyday that i play this game. It's intensly annoying, especially when there is more than one on the other team. i'd almost rather just get get pieced by a Retro.

Trade the rifle (usually hammerburst) for a gnasher, It's one of the few times I'll use one at the moment (apart from dealing with difficult teams or running out of ammo).

The caveat to this is I wont usually pick up brightly coloured guns, unless I'm going to use it on it's owner....I rather enjoy killing people with their own hideous coloured weapons.

Does anyone ever swap there rifle for another shotgun? I find myself doing it on the more CQC maps, I mainly use gnasher and also pick up a sawed off to trick my opponents. Fire the sawed off then they assume I will run and reload but no I have a gnasher to switch to as a sneaky kill

I do this sometimes if the other team keeps using the sawed off and I am usually better than them with it seeing as I hardly miss and I use the gnasher all the time.

I just did this in Top Wingmen, and picked my lancer back up to return fire, then hey rushed me picked it back up killed one and picked my lancer up once more, it's very good and unusual strategy that almost always works.
