That's pretty good. But Johnny Cash is Johnny Cash. We will most likely see the Hammer Strikes in GOWJ and the song God is gonna cut you down would be amazing.

I thought they did a good job using Heron Blue and Into Dust. They were a good match for their trailers.

More of the same for me.

Edit: Now, I'm not a Red fan, but this would be mega awesome (though much more fitting for Gears 3)

Meh that song is so overplayed, its been adopted by too many small children who think they are being deep by listening to it, when in fact it is very radio friendly.

Oh yeah and that for some reason reminds me that is was used for the Prototype 2 trailer? I think. Whatever game it was it was a really poor use of trailer music, I reckon they had seen some of the amazing Gears of War ones and thought they would shove in some 'emotional' music and it really didn't work for me. Epic make such better trailer song choices.

Which is why I am looking forward to seeing a new trailer soon. I believe Epic brought in some people from Pixar to help tell a better story too. So I think it is safe to say it will probably be emotional.

They're brilliant. Started listening to them some time last year. Had no idea they were responsible for such songs like "Black Blade", "Protectors of the Earth", "Freedom Fighters" and "Heart of Courage"--some of the greatest soundtrack music ever made.

Yet to listen to their Archangel album, so can't suggest anything from there. Actually downloading it right now since you reminded me.

I don't think it'd be appropriate for Gears. As I suggested earlier--"Ain't No Grave" would be a good song to use.
