Default Skorge, how could he have died? [Spoilers]

I don't get Skorge's Death in Gears 2, he could cut open a tank but after falling maybe even less distance than when he jumped off the centaur I mean it seems wierd even if their were sharp rocks down their Skorge is a Kantus and Kantus' have tough skin even it is shown as the Mk 1 Lancer they say wasn't strong enough to pierce locust skin so this is crazy how he could of died at worst for Skorge and I mean sissy locust worst he would have been knocked unconsious. The only way he could have possibly died is if he had mortal injuries before-hand but judging from the death cutscene he didn't. He should have gotten back up and he didn't he died there. What do you guys think maybe Skorge survived?

Nope, Rod confirmed that Skorge is dead.

He landed on sharp rocks from several stories up when he fell from the Hydra. He fell to his death, he broke his back after Hydra exploded. And Rob confirmed it.

I'm pretty sure he fell father than he has ever jumped. Plus there's a difference between falling on your back and landing on your feet. Last but not least, whenever the higher ups give the official word on something it's final. Even if it doesn't make sense. This goes for Gears and anything else in fictional entertainment.

He fell off and died. He was just a means of introducing a chainsaw-battle function in Gears 2. Another reason why Epic failed at the "Skorge" character. A great idea with limitless possibilities to flesh the Locust Horde's brutal tactics, wasted with the intentions of only ever having him in the game to replace RAAM/showcase chainsaw battle.

If a Berserker can be killed by running off a train and falling what - 5 feet?
I think a little Kantus (which Skorge is) can be killed by a fall from great heights.

    Quoted for truth.

Plus, RAAM actually killed some people, Skorge cut up a prop and yelled at worm.

He was also travelling at what looked like 300+ miles per hour when he fell. He's dead, Jim.

This, and he's not a stay-and-fight badass like RAAM, he's a run-and-hide coward. The Skorge part there was a joke (the RAAM part was true), but he was moving fast, he fell from a great height, and he doesn't wear much armor to protect himself from breaking his spine/sharp rocks impaling him.

Personally, I think both boss-fights sucked major. I mean, if you seriously think about it...

One walked to you in a straight line, taking millions of rounds and carrying infinite ammo while having a shield every 30 seconds. The other was just there to fight Marcus with his DOUBLE-chainsaw staff, while Dom played with some Ticker's in the corner. Thank you, Epic.

Myrrah, I feel like, was a true bad-ass or at least a real boss-fight in Gears. She was more of a challange and actually seemed natural, rather than RAAM, who walked in line, or Skorge, or was there to show-off a stupid chainsaw animation... <--- that by the way, was a waste, why have a double-staff and not have both Dom and Marcus fight him at the same time?

Meh Skorge could have had a better death would have liked to see him get chainsawed by Marcus and Dom. A lil irony for using that double staff.

Did you just say myrrah was a bad- ass hahaahahahah she didnt even fight anyone and she got shanked like a noob. Look at RAAMs shadows fight that fight was more Boss than Myrrah the only thing that makes her special is she has fancy locust to fight for her. In my opinon they should have had the queen betrayed by one of her generals since it is obvious she has no power and appears to be human. If a general would have betrayed her it would show the rise of a locust "King" who I am sure can be depicted more brutal also show the detachment from the locust and humans.

Yeah, considering she was the Queen of the entire Horde and had RAAM and Skorge both doing her bidding for her... yeah, I would say she was somewhat of a bad-ass. I mean, why else would RAAM or Skorge follow her? They could have easily killed her if they didn't think she was worthy. It took an entire Squad to take Myrrah down, with HoD. And even then... she still came out alive. She had to be stabbed because she allowed herself to get close to Marcus and talk smack. She literally died talking smack about Marcus' father.
