Ive looked around on the forums to make sure no one had a similar thread before I posted this. So, what maps and characters would you want in Judgement multiplayer?

List 6 maps you would want: Subway
Fuel Depot
Avalanche
Day One
Azura
Ruins

List 6 Cogs you would want: Pad Salton
Alex Brand
Dizzy Wallin
Michael Barrick
Anthony Carmine
Prescott

List 6 Locust you would want: Skorge
Raam
Savage Kantus
Savage Marauder
Cyclops
Bolter

People wanted remakes. Did we get them in Gears 3? No. Well we got Jacinto and Raven Down, the only maps we actually asked for. Bulletmarsh, Escalation, BloodDrive and ClockTower was all EPIC's decision...

Ok just kidding. By now it is actually getting old. It doesn't work well in respawn modes.

I'm hoping not as many maps are remade this time around. There are only a few that I want that haven't been remade already.

I wouldn't mind remakes. However I want them heavily modified too - this will also have to be done due to Overrun anyways. Scout/Wretch abilities to get to exclusive areas that they'd have to climb up is a example of why they will need heavy tweaking. Otherwise their abilities are useless.

This is why I loved Jacinto's return. It's a completely different map. It's a remake yes however the changes made it completely different.
So if any remakes happen - I want significant changes. Not just retexturing it and adding ash people (Gridlock). I want it DIFFERENT.

Adds a new path to the Pistol spawns and as a result adds in 2 new rooms to the map.
I'd even say open up the Gate by the Sniper to another area - but give that area 2 side paths. Meaning you have 4 paths to the Sniper.

Would it still be Gridlock? Yes.
However it would play completely differently too with the added areas.
Sniper area camping would not be wise as you can't just defend the 2 areas. There's that 3rd back path (that has 2 ways up aside from the gate entrance) you have to also watch.
Camping the 1 path to Pistol area now has 2 ways up there. Meaning camping it is now harder too.

This would revamp the map while still keeping it Gridlock.

So remakes? Yes please. However ONLY if they change the map around too.

OK, I'm game. Given that it is likely that Overun will require a new approach to map layout ( ticker access, scout access points) I'm think if they were to do remakes, they would require major alterations. With that in mind , here we go. Also no map remakes off of Gears 3, they are still to new in my mind.

Fuel Station ( Like the high ground)
Security ( may fit with the Onyx Guard stronghold idea, high ground on the small buildings on both sides)
Day One ( just because it's so close to E-Day in the story, but this time , show it burning and ravaged)
Nowhere ( again High ground access)
Memorial ( seems to fit the architecture of Havo Bay)

Pad Salton
Tai


List 6 Locust you would want:

Skorge
Raam
Elite/Black Kantus
Elite/Black Marauder
Elite/Black Cyclops
Palace Guard ( reworked so as to address sizing issue, and helmet problem)

Well if you only want characters related to Judgment's Campaign you will probably only get about six playable COG then and about three playable Locust, so it obviously means there will be more characters been added to multiplayer for both COG and Locust expect fan favorites like Marcus, Dom, Anya, Hoffman, A Carmine, B Carmine, Onyx Guard, Dizzy, Drone, Sniper, Beast Rider, RAAM, Kantus, Hunter, Cyclops, Spotter, Skorge and Grenadier's all to be multiplayer characters.

I have to ask, how do you know how many characters of relevance will be in Judgments campaign?

Gridlock fits is suiting in every Gears game. It's generic in design.
GoW1 - was a generic destroyed city.
GoW2 - was the same city but nature took it over.
GoW3 - was a generic destroyed city with the Ash People from campaign -- Gridlock = a generic city that was victim to the HoD attacks

In Gears of War Judgment it can be exactly how it was in Gears 1 and it'd make sense. A generic city that was attacked by the Locust.
No matter what it matches the story as it's universal. It's called Gridlock instead of a city name so it represents ANY city that's featured in Gears.

For Multiplayer I dont really want to see LE skins again.

ect I dont want too many COG. Gears 3 Cog characters were unbelievably annoying. Too many of the same skins like Marcust had like 3-4 skins.

i really miss some of the gears 2 maps. river, tyro station, security, fuel depot (and others). i really hope they include some maps that have the feel that those maps had.

No matter how badass the games get into the future everyone has their favorites, take halo, some love 3 some love reach but some still favor halo 2, i think gears 2 will always be my favorite even though connection wise it was the worst, the maps the dialogue the blood overall environment mixed well snow maps night maps, sand map, hail, avalanches, underground, gears 3 felt all the same environment
