Am I the only one who thinks bots shouldn't be in ranked tdm?

As the title says, I find it odd that epic would allow such a thing. Tdm is very dependent on how many lives you
Have and when a bot continuously goes out and dies, it only serves to take away lives you could use an give other players free kills. If a player leaves, I would rather have an empty spot than a spot to be filled by an idiotic bot. So, can anyone explain why epic has allowed this?

Bots are pretty useless in TDM/Warzone/Execution, they are such a drain on you pool of 'lives' - they do however offer a useful distraction in objective based game types such as KoTH...

Bots are useless as sh*t and Gears is not a game that supports uneven teams. I don't want to change the topic but that's why Quick Match is stupid as well. But jeah... Is it (both bots and QM) in the game because Epic didn't think properly or is it the consumers fault?.. Who knows. Won't change anyway. This problem will stay until and throughout GoW:J so why bother.

They should be in it, but Epic should configure them so they only ever have the retro lancer and the gnasher. Boosting for wingman and watching an insane bot just peer around the corner for ages from miles away and shoot his sawed off and then reload to do it again. Absolutely pathetic.

Annoying when the enemy bots have the retro and can get kills and your ones just have the hammerburst and do absolutely nothing with it :/

Bots should be in absolutely no multiplayer game. There are a couple of shooters in which they are not that big of a problem, however it's because uneven teams are not as crucial. In public games at least. Yet in Gears of War it is gamebreaking. But I think for gametypes like TDM or Execution it would still be better to play with a smaller team than with bots.

They are a problem child but i found they are better used as bait escept when you down someone and they go nuts for the kill. If you think that is bad you should see them as the leader in CTL or Guardian. Most competent players as leader will either avoid conflict to win the match or stay with the team to overrun the other team faster. Bots you gotta baby sit them and they dont know how to run when things turn for the worse.

I don't play Ranked much but I do agree. On Quick they severly cripple your team (Especially on Guardian when they are the leader...). I feel that if you penalized for leaving by decreasing you XP then that should be good enough to keep players in. If a player leaves, then at least he or she is penalized and you're not stuck with a useless bot.

The only thing I can see Bots good for is Wingman as a filler and KoTH as sitters/protectors of the rings.

I agree, especially in tdm. One time on Raven Down (during rd 24/7), there was a bot in the trees spawn and one on the other team near the Raven. They had their gnashers out and kept taking turns peeking over the cover at each other. They did this for about 5 minutes lol no exaggeration. I thought it was funny for the first 2-3 min but after that I was like C'MON!

bots make for some comedic relief other then that they should be gone. teams should be evened out with active players and the bare minimum of bots should be added. if at all i dunno it may just be better to just go hard in a 5v2 or 5v3 or something or even 4-5v1 depending on how much of a beat down the person can take. instead of all those dumb bots runnign around twirling their smokes and stealing weapons.

off topic - do bots have like all actives all the time?? i got 4 pointed by a good 25-30 ft by a bot the other day and then downed on the second shot. i know the gnasher gets wild but i dont know if ive ever been 4 pointed at quite that range without an active. and yes, it couldnt have been an active cause i saw him twirling his dumb smoke around.

anyway yea the less bots the better.

If cronic quitters are gonna be allowed to play ranked then bots should be allowed in ranked as well.
