    Question UT2004 DVD Install Quandry

Hello, all! I'm posting in regards to a strange problem that has me baffled. I went to install my retail copy of UT2004 on my recently restored Windows 7 rig. As seen in the screenshot below the file browser shows only the demo executable when the DVD is loaded. I've updated the drivers for my DVD-rom and revealed all hidden files through the Control Panel. I'm also running some anti-malware scans at the moment to rule that out. I have the key in the case, but the demo has no option to apply one. I even tried using a key changer to no avail.

Below are images of the software in action, the discs and their store-bought container. Any solutions will be met with ample gratitude... followed by a flurry of gleeful skinning and fragging! >=D

I might have thought the same, but this is the same disc I'd used to install this game (several times) back when I used Windows XP. I don't know of any other Windows 7 users who have ever had this problem. I turned out to have no malware, but the disc isn't in the best condition either.

Try "exploring" the disc, which should reveal the contents.

The first screenshot shows what that looks like.

Try to find some program that can read the data from the disc directly. It seems IsoBuster can do this, but if you have to pay for the functionality, you might as well buy another copy of the game.

    What's in the second disc?

Originally it was bonus maps and skins with some "training videos." Sadly, now only the training videos play.

The first disk doesn't look right. This is how it should look (note that the design matches the bonus disk you have):

It looks like somebody swapped the disk. "OEM Bundle use only" also suggests this is not the right disk, as this is usually written on what comes in a paper envelope with a videocard or a motherboard. Also, unlike UT GoTY, UT2004 bonus disk only had editor videos, nothing more.
