Third Times A Charm ..... not really

I started up gears and it popped up all the unlocks I thought to myself thats weird and what do you know my third yes third rank reset for the game the first time it wasnt that bad the second it almost got to me this time it has me ready to shout from the rooftop.

(by the way the first time I was 25 i was offline at the time and someone deleted my progress the 2nd time I upgraded my profile and I was at 60 and the 3rd I was a Green 57 and it also wont give me ivory or FL4K even though they are stamped, not that it matters)

maybe I feel a little burned at the moment and maybe I will play again but for now i am done, it was fun while it lasted I made some friends and a LOT of enemies
now I must ride off into the sun

Shuks! That's sad news bro. Have you tried deleting the corrpupted player data before you used your back up/s? You might like to give it a try if you hadn't done this yet. It might be a longshot but worth it if you get your rank/levels back.

Always a bummer seeing a gearhead hang his lancer and call it quits.

Are you shutting your xbox off in the middle of a save or constantly quick quitting matches? I'm trying to find out how you are continuously getting reset.

This statement is also confusing to me. Someone went into your saves and just deleted it from the storage?

Remember to eject your disc before shutting your xbox off. Don't shut it off mid save or when it freezes. Also, check out Gnashes' advice in his thread. Hopefully this helps prevent any mishaps.

I was offlline meaning i was nether a free member or a gold i was just offline, someone deleted my progress of my elite hard drive before i was able to transfer it to my 360 S system and when i upgraded my profile to a gold membership i had to update the game resulting in a reset as for the 3rd one i do not know maybe i was playing with a modder or a booster or maybe it happened when my Ethernet cord was pulled out and i was disconnected also i never quit even if it is 5 VS 1 i stay through to the end no matter what the outcome

Sounds odd to me. Playing with a modder or especially a booster won't reset you as they have no direct access to your account. I think, someone can clarify, you can only be reset on your end. Someone else can't do it unless they have access to your account...and you wouldn't give anyone your account info, at least I hope not. You may have reset when you disconnected yourself. Sorry man, just sounds weird that someone would just delete your stuff.

Either way, you should take the disc eject advice and check out Gnashes thread. If you haven't already you might benefit from a back up on a flash drive as well. It would completely suck to get reset again man, believe me I know the pain of a reset. I have 3 backups now. Cloud and flash drive "A" for daily and flash drive "B" for updating every onyx I earn.
