    Default Where did UIScene go?

Hey. I'm following tutorials from Hourences, and saw something very interesting to add in my level; UIScenes.

However, it appears that since november 2010 te UIScenes completely disappeared from UDK. How can I make an UIScene now?

Typically the UIScene function from UDK has been replaced by Scaleform. The crash course for Scaleform is basically scenes created in Flash, imported into the engine and then used as the overlay via either Kismet of Scripting. Scaleform is diverse, in that it can create entire menu systems (with the help of Flash's inbuilt ActionScript) or just simple prompting pop ups.

Either way, I'd recommend diving into it; Scaleform is a lot more powerful than the UIScene feature and allows for some real control over appearance and function, all whilst being very lightweight. You don't need any plug ins for UDK, as they import directly as is, all you need to do is to export your Flash file out and into your package. There are many available tutorials and 'How To' videos via UDK and Scaleform, and a lot of support for Flash related issues that may arise.

I suppose you mean november 2011, unless you've been to the future.

UIScenes were deprecated a long time ago. You're not missing anything really, they were pretty terrible.
