Hey Folks, The Doctor here.

As you may gather from my signature, I'm the captain of the Gears of War 3 team over at NGG. We're currently looking for more people to join the clan, and create a second team.

At the moment, we're still looking for around 3 players to join, though more can sign up. You will not automatically be relegated to our second team, it will be done based on how well you fit in, and how good you are at the game under competitive rules.

Suppose I should give you a bit of background to us!

We're a UK/EU based clan, and are looking to recruit players from these regions.

We currently play in the WGL in all three of it's Gears of War 3 leagues. Last season was a tremendous success for us, placing first in our division accross in two leagues, and finishing mid-table in the other. This was a shock to all of us, as before the season started we experienced an upheaval in our former captain leaving to start a new clan. I was chosen to take up the mantle of captain before the season started, and formed the team from what little we had left (the majority of our members all left with the former captain). Since then we've all bonded, and we play regularly and have a good time doing so.

In joining NGG, you'd be joining a group of people who know how to have a laugh, and can dish out friendly banter almost 24/7. Since we play in three leagues, that's three matches a week, plus whatever scrims I can find to fill in the gaps.

We also might start GB for a laugh if enough people are up for it.

If you want to know more, leave a message. Feel free to sign up to our forums and ask any questions there also. We do a 4 week trial period, in which time you can do everything a full member can do, and at the end we'll vote on if you're suitable or not (if you're active and a laugh, you're suitable)

Can I join? I'm super 1337 with the S/O and Retro. I'm also really good at two piecing with the Retro as well as getting long distance mantle kicks. I think I'm pretty close to mastering the Ink stun and Lancer down technique too!

Once you've managed to get effective with the Ink/Lancer down - finish with pre-actived SO, let me know and I'll show you where to go.

We don't really judge players on K/Ds to be honest. As a rough guess, I'd say we're all between 2-3 in Quick Matches of any/most gamemodes (for example, I'm above 2.0 in all gamemodes - although in Quick Match, we're not really playing properly most of the time - we leave going tryhard for Ranked affairs, scrims and league games and whatnot) and in Ranked, we're all comfortably positive players.

But like I said, for us, we aren't fussed on the K/D side of things.

Yeah, that's a shame. The only reason we ask for EU is because of time differences, and also that our games must be hosted by members in the UK, which means it's a constant uphill connection struggle if you're that far away.

I'm sure there are similar setups to us in the good ol' Oz. Good luck in your search to find them.

I mean we COULD bring an Australian member in, it'd just be horrific for you time-difference and lag wise.

our first season as a team in the WGL, we won 2 out of the 3 leagues we were entered in, against very tough competition. In fact, we didn't lose a single game in one of those leagues.

K/D's aren't important to us as a unit. Though as NP473L says above, we're all pretty much in the 2.0 region (except for me in ranked, TDM I has a 1.3 lolol)
