Return classic melee executions

Nothing against the kick but I loved the B button melee executions from Gears 2 and hope they return if u never played gears 2 or don't remember it went like this:

Lancer and hammer: almost like tai greeting with rifle than dropped down on enemy
longshot: dropped the butt down similar to one shot execution
torque: an effortless nudge lol
gnasher: golf swing

Just to name a few, they can add a unique B button execution to every weapon in Judgment and even keep the Gears 3 kick with pistol equipped since its such a long way down

what do u think? U miss these executions or u fine with the kick? Or should they bring both back using my pistol idea?

And since so many people wanted a better Y execution for the gnasher maybe we can get a new Y execution and have both if enough ppl support and if the game isn't practically gold

Not sure about long Gnasher execution since I'm using it for quick kills

Yeah. I dislike how I'm forced into a stationary animation when I B-execute. I much prefered the mobility of the old B-executions and the melee in Gears 1.

I preferred Gears 1 when it was just a regular melee to finish them off. It was much, much quicker than any execution IMO.

GoW2 B-executions took the same amount of time as a GoW1 melee-execution.

I should re-phrase: GoW2 B-execution animations take the same length of time as the melee animations.

Personally I'd like to see a pistol execution or a different Boltok execution. I would love to see either one of these have a execution where you put your foot on his/her neck and just shoot them in the head once, something as quick as the golf swing.
Other than that, add a new execution for the gnasher. Everything else is just fine.

This 100%, no point to B execute now you just get retroed down. Having to stand still to kill is a flow and gamepace killer imo.

Golf execution was amazing, 3 or 4 dudes on the floor? pop, pop, pop, pop! lol quick and sounded so good.

But I do like the kick to the face too, bit slow and gets you killed though haha.

Yeah those quick executions in GOW 2 made it possible to 'execute' quite a bit more. Also "loved the Gears 2 Golf Swing" KO!

I don't care whether those other weapons have quick executions or not, I just want the gnasher to have the golf-swing again. I think it's fine if the other weapons just result in a melee kill that is just as fast as the gnasher execution.

Yeah i seen that right now lol im just not a fan of the kick and much preffered the b button executions from G2 (golfswing gnasher and torque nudge were my favs) plus you could still move
