    Default Mobile masked materials?

    I'm experiencing alot of issues with the may version of the UDK, along with the fact that lightmass is not baking anymore masked materials, they doesnt seams to work anymore on an iOS device.. i got it working in the mobile emulator but on the iPad it doesnt work at all.. it just refuse to render it...
    the exact same scene on the feb udk build was working perfectly, both the baking issue and on the iOS.. This issue is pretty bad and its completly stopping my project.. cant even create a tree without masked materials...
    anyone have any idea about it or anyone experiencing the same issue?
    any help will be greatly appreciated..

    No... my masked material renders fine in the May build. The little red arrow in the corner is a masked material on a plane:

    Sorry don't have time to upload something better. However one screenshot shows it in mobile previewer and the other on iPod.
    Which device did you use for testing?
    The only thing I noticed is that they drop shadows on the preview editor window but not elsewhere. I was guessing that is due to hardware limitations tho.

    i'm using an iPad2, i tried to install a clean udk and it still doesnt work... your material is just a diffuse with the alpha as transparency mask right? is your shader masked or translucent? thanks for the help by the way..

    Well the Alpha channel node is connected with the Opacity Mask if you meant that yes. The Blend mode is set to BLEND_Masked otherwise the alpha would not be used on mobile. Also don't forget to save your BMP file as 32Bit in PS... not suggesting you didn't but I sometimes forget it.

    thanks for the suggestions, yes its all set up this way.. the problem is that all works perfectly even in the mobile emulator and mobile preview.. but when i run it on the iPad2 it doesnt works anymore.. well if for you works i guess its something on my side.. may be something i screwed in the inis, i will try to redo a clean install and check if it works hopefully...
