    Default Gears Of War 3 Matchmaking problem..

    i bought gears of war 3 two days back i was playing campaign it is running and was playing MULTIPLAYER TEAM DEATH MATCH( VERSUS < CASUAL)and was very happy then i found out that i was playing with bots and no real players and now i want to play with real players

    SO I TRIED RANKED MATCHES BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY PLAYERS AND EVEN WITH HORDE OR BEAST MODE THE PROBLEM IS SAME(i found out quality matches but not even single player is found)

    My internet is 100% fine i have tried other games like battlefield 3 and halo 3 and they are running fine....

    here is what really happens

    my console can find matches like----15 out of 15 quality matches found

    but after that it cannot find any players not even a single player in HORDE,BEAST or RANKED TDM

    Try quick match if you can't find a match do a test connection that usually works

    dude in quick i can play only with bots and no other real players...and my internet connection is fine as i told before all my games are running fine in multiplayer

    This has happened to a few people so you aren't alone. Have you tried recycling the power to your router/modem? Often times some settings can reset and hinder your ability to connect.

    thanks for reply but nothing really changed anything...still same problem
    XBOX SUPPORT ALSO SEEMS USELESS THEY ARE NOT EVEN REPLYING ANYMORE...........
    THIS HAS HAPPENED TO THOUSaNDS OF MORE PLAYERS LIKE ME AND THERE SEEMS NO SOLUTION FOR IT......

    Does it say you have a strict NAT type? This can affect whether you connect to other players or not.

    Check your NAT type. If its status is set to "Closed" then you will not be able to connect with many players. "Open" is the desired status which will allow you to connect with all players.
    Basic principles to fix this: try cutting the power to your router/modem, leave for 30 seconds, then switch it back on.

    Your region may affect matchmaking too.

    my NAT is open and i have tried restarting my modem but nothing really works
    my country is INDIA anyone here indian who can play multiplayer properly...

    PLEASE HELP ME IM REALLY IN NEED....

    I don't think many people in India play Gears, that might be your problem.

    Go to your settings menu and change your region to US or another Gears popular region. You may find yourself getting connected with some foriegn players connection many miles away but at least you'll get some games :0

    Hope this helps, i changed mine to US to test it and i found it connected me to US servers 50% of the time over my home UK.

    My friend has a ping of 700ms which results in bot only matches, what is your ping?

    Settings > System > Console Settings > Language and Locale

    Change "Locale" to the desired location, then you're done.
    Don't know what diferrence it'll make. It's not like you're going to trick the servers into thinking you're somewhere else. Being in the remote location you are -- no significant changes expected.
