Hey Mclogenog,

You sure know how to make some amazing maps. First DM-Psi (which I totally love), and now DM-Dethen. Everything about this map, the HOLP style, the clean textures, z-Axis gameplay, and flow are just perfect. Feels like you are my personal map author because you seem to know exactly what I like in a map, lol. When I first started playing the map there were a few areas that gave me a feeling like they might be a bit too large and sparse compared to the rest of the map. After playing a few matches and getting use to the map more and how it plays, I actually started to really enjoy those open areas of the map. All of the included weapons are great with Shock Rifle, Bio Rifle, and Rocket Launcher stealing the show. Though I can play an entire match with any of these weapons and dominate with them, I also found Dual Enforcers to be great as well. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I don't remember seeing any Enforcer ammo pickups within the level... If that's true, I feel that is the only miss within the level. All the other weapon and armor placements feel correct and very balanced. There are some nice open areas as well as choke points for Flak and Bio. The level has a very nice flow to it with a good amount of z-axis gameplay in all areas of the map. I didn't run into any problems or bugs what so ever, even the bot pathing was great. This is a wonderful 1 vs 1 duel map, and a new favorite of mine that will be added to my personal rotation of maps I frequently play. Highly recommend this one to everyone, it is not only a keeper... it is a must have!



I have also created a video showing some gameplay from this map. The only thing missing in the video is some Bio Rifle kills, I find when I start using the Bio Rifle on this map, I keep using it because it's so good!

Perfect balance for this HOLP style map, some clean textures and details, brilliant red lights, undercover areas, lots of z-axis, good weapon/item placement, the skybox, and some bots are almost good for this one (maybe).

nice clean textures/meshes, love the music, good lighting/shadows, skybox could be better; great gameplay with flow, z-axis and good connectivity but the bot could be better.
