New and want help

Hey,
I am entering my last year of school and when I finish I plan on going to University as I want to become a Game Programmer.
I was thinking it would be a good idea to get use to coding during my last year so I know what I am doing for University and also make a few games to add to my portfolio for when I am looking for a Job.
I was wondering if I anyone could help me learn some languages (C++/ Java/ C#) I have never tried to program before so I need all the help I can get, also are there any free programs I can learn to program from. I have been told about "Small Basic" but I don't know how good it is.
