On because gears 1 looked so full of gore, takes me back to the day

The game is also about killing enemies so what's the point in not having gore on it's just like playing COD

I don't know if it's a glitch but sometimes when I shoot at someone with a pile of gore on the floor in front of them the bullets stop right above the meat chunks and appears to have been hit by the bullets and the person takes no damage... I'm going to turn it off and see if it keeps happening.

There is no differents with lag when playing gore on or off.
I always have gore on because gore makes gears so much fun.

Some people have it turned off because the frame rate was better with no gore in Gears 2 (don't know if this is still the case). I play with gore on so I can see if I hit people

and it's so satisfying to blow heads off!

Gore on. I'm not 6yo. Why play Gears? Is it really going to add an extra kill wiTh it off? Even if it did, is it worth it? I think not. Not satisfying at all and not "Gears of War".

I've always played with it on, until literally yesterday when I saw someone say it helps them see shots they've hit more clearly and sometimes their shots would connect more. After trying it for the day, I can't lie, it felt like it helped. I don't play gears to see blood. I play it because it's an intense game full of wall bouncing and gun skill, and if turning gore off helps out a tiny bit, then whatever, screw the blood. Love how some of you are acting like you wouldn't even play gears if gore was off. You lie like a rug.

People turned gore off in Gears 2 because it prevented blood from splattering on the screen. No reason to do it in gears 3 though.

I play with the gore off because it's easier to tell if when your gnasher popshots and hard aims hit their mark. I personally didn't buy Gears of War for the gore, I bought it for the amazing gameplay. Besides, Gears 3's gibs don't look as realistic as Gears 2's. Although I will say that the headshots look better in Gears 3.

I always play with Gore on, that's what makes Gears fun and if you play online you can see if you hit someone and especially love watching their body go flying and their head splattering after getting popped with a Superman.
