Default Silversabeasts's Infinity Blade II Guide (Intro To IB2)

    Silversabeasts’s Infinity Blade II Guide

Welcome to my Infinity Blade II Guide! This guide will cover almost everything in the game. Once you’ve read this entire thing, you will be ready to tackle IB2!

Disclaimer: This was originally written using IB2 on version 1.2. However, when 1.3 was released I updated this post. I will continue to update it as (if) updates continue to materialize.

A key to all acronyms/abbreviations in this thread and others throughout this forum is below. (credit goes to synge32)

Now that you (hopefully) won’t be confused by the acronyms,
    Let’s begin, shall we?

PROGRESSING THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME (INTRO)

Starting And Saydhi’s Garden (Intro A)

Please note that there will be more information in later sections to help you in this section. So don’t worry if you are confused

So you loved IB1, did you? Well welcome to IB2, IB1’s bigger and better brother.

After a brief mysterious scene, the game cuts you to your ally, Isa, talking with you as you enter Saydhi’s garden. After a brief exchange of words, you begin your first fight in IB2! The first fights in Saydhi’s garden aren’t difficult whatsoever, as this is a sort of tutorial. the game basically teaches you how to play it. The only fight you may have difficulty with is Saydhi, but she shouldn’t be too hard either; just hide behind your shield the whole time.

While in Saydhi’s garden you will also get your first gem, but more on that later.

Really Beginning The Game And Getting Around The Castle (Intro B)

Here comes the real beginning of IB2…brace yourself.

After your time in Saydhi’s garden, you will go to the vault of tears. This is where almost the whole game takes place. If you want a nice map of the castle to guide you, check out DangerCZ’s map of the castle. (please note that this map is not updated for 1.2’s new areas)

The first thing you will do is beat Thane. (the game will guide you there, so no sweat) Then just beat the next three blood sentinels.

How To Get To All Three Blood Sentinels

MX-Goliath: Go through the courtyard with the statue of the man stabbing the dragon into the library. Then go left after defeating the enemy in there. You will go into a tomb, once you get out and beat the next enemy, take the left-most route. Keep going forward and you will come to the MX-Goliath.

Stone Demon: Once you make it to the courtyard, go left. Beat the wretch in the arena and keep going. (if the tree in the arena is already grown, don’t climb up it) after descending into a cavern, you will find the Stone Demon.

The Archivist: Go straight through the courtyard, and after beating the library enemy, go right. After one more fight, you will meet the Archivist.

What To Do Next: Now you are almost done with the game, but you probably should level up some more before fighting the final boss. (he is one of the tougher enemies in the game, as he is a boss) So just go through the castle over and over again. (die to Thane at the end of each rebirth) After you are at a comfortable level, go fight thane again, and beat him. You will go back to where you started the game, and fight the God King. Don’t worry if he beats you a few times before you beat him.
And now you know how to make your way through the castle and where to go in IB2.

    EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS

Equipment in Infinity Blade 2 is very important. It will determine how you fight, and how long you can survive.

    VILE ITEMS:

For the all the "Vile" items, asianlitarian wrote a guide on how to get them:

    Blade stats: 400 attack+ 200 dark, light/triangle gem. $500,000, 15,000 EXP.

Vile Shield: Do the same for the Vile Blade, but choose the right hand option, which will guide you to a slot requiring the Infinity Blade. A monster will pop out, defeat him, and you have the shield. Keep in mind you have to have the IB and be prepared to face a quarter staff Titan.
    Shield stats: +80 defense, 2 circle, 1 diamond. $200,000, 50,000 EXP.

Vile Helm: Get the crown map from the shop first. Then, go to stone demon area. Face the titan on the bridge, and tap on the upper left hand corner of the carving on top of the battleground. (sometimes it is necessary to defeat the stone demon first)
    Helm stats: Attack + 25, circle/diamond gem slots. $150,000, 20,000 EXP.

Vile armor: Go up the tree in the arena. You will come to a clearing with a monstrosity. Tap all the bags to wake it up and defeat it.
    Armor stats: Health +50, Dodge+ 7(light), attack +50. Hex slot. $250,000, 50,000 EXP.

(NOTE: All titans start out at roughly level 200 in OG.)
To finish the map, go to the tomb (the room with all the locked items.) Equip all the vile items, tap on the neck of the statue, watch the cutscene, and you will acquire the Holy Band.
The Holy Band Stats: Holy 10, circle gem, diamond gem. $800,000, 75,000 EXP. (Holy magic heals and does damage at the same time. No discernible loss of damage because of healing, but if someone does find a difference, please let me know.
    SWORDS AND FIGHTING STYLES

There are three weapon classes in Infinity Blade 2: Dual, Light, and Heavy. Dual is by far the best if you take all the classes barebones, (this isn’t a bias, it’s a fact) and light and heavy are pretty evenly matched.

Dual: This one, as the name implies, allows you to wield two swords for faster combos, and chaining of combos. Dual doesn’t have a shield, (obviously) so instead of a block button, you get a duck button. (in the middle of the screen)

Using a super attack in dual makes a bunch of blue circles appear on the screen. Tapping on them will allow you to stab lightning quick. After stabbing, you may swipe at the enemy a few times.

There are many combos you can do by chaining different ones together, so I’ll just give you the basic ones: up down up, (and vice versa) left right left, left right left up down left/right, and up down up down up down left/right.

The best weapon in this class is the solar trans-OX. Besides that, the kurtz and gelder are also excellent choices.

The best gem for this class is probably the "titan break +2" gem. This will allow two extra hits per each dodge break. Using combos in tandem with this gem allows for massive damage.

BONUS: If you want a real education on dual, check out Silver’s own Dual Guide.

Light: The original fighting style from IB1, it uses a sword and shield. You get two dodge buttons on the right and left, and a block button in the middle.

Using a super attack with light lets you stab 2-3 times on an enemy, while this is much less than dual, the individual stabs do more damage.

Combos for this class are pretty simple. (excerpt from the online infinity blade 2 manual by the developers)

Combo Chains - Chain together attacks in different swipe directions for special combo moves.
Left, Right, Left = Huge Hit (Does the most damage you can in a 3 hit window)
Left, Left, Right, Right = Mega Hit (Does the most damage you can in a 4 hit window)
Left, Right, Up, Down, Left = Ultra Hit (Best, this does the most damage you can in a 5 or greater hit window)
Like in dual, you can wrap combos in light. After doing a LRL one, simply do a another right, then left slash. This works for the UDU combo as well, of course with different directions. T

The best weapon in this class is the Solar trans-LX. Besides that, the Infinity Blade, Vile Blade, and Lockjaw.

The best gem for this class is the "on 5 combo continue combo" gem. This gem can make light the highest class in damage.

Heavy: There is no dodging in this class, instead you get two directional block buttons on either side. (where the dodge ones were before) This one requires a lot of shield points to use effectively.

Using a super attack with heavy makes arrows appear on the screen. Slashing in line with these arrows will do massive damage to your enemy. If your slash isn’t in line with the arrow, it will still do damage, albeit significantly less.

Combos for this class are easy. Just swipe in any direction twice. After a combo an arrow will appear, these behave the same as the super arrows.

The best weapon in this class is the solar trans-JX. Besides that, the Anarchax, (it is available in NG+ only) as it has 1,500 attack.

The best gem for this class is the "combo slash +1" gem. It allows for an extra slash per each combo hit.

Light Transport Weapons: These weapons were introduced in version 1.3 of the game. They are also called "lightsabers" by some forum members for their similarity to the weapons used in the star wars series. There is a version for each weapon class, and they all cost 1,000,000 gold.

These weapons seem under-powered for their cost at first, but you must put an elemental attack gem (square) into it to unlock its potential. It multiplies the attack gems value by 10. So a 400 elemental attack turns into a 4000 elemental attack.

    DODGING, PARRYING, AND BLOCKING

DODGING:Dodging is a thing to think about when using dual and light. When should you dodge? Which direction?

Some enemies attacks are very difficult to read, and you will only learn to recognize them by playing for a long time. But other attacks are pretty simple to read, and you will learn them almost instantly. If you use dual, it is alot easier to dodge, as you have three directions to dodge instead of light's two. (but most attacks light is unable to dodge are blockable, which light can do.)

Another factor to consider when dodging is dodge exhaustion. This occurs when you have dodge too much in a short time, resulting in lost health. (the amount of dodges you may do before exhaustion is show on the dodge buttons themselves) You can alleviate this by using lighter armors. (thark is the best for this) Also, dual has more dodges than light, so use that if you want to dodge more.

Our own forum member rioskis (with help of NiiLoc) figured out that the amount of health you lose when hitting exhaustion is a fixed percentage of your overall health. His thread on the subject can be found here.

NiiLoc also submitted some more useful information on dodge exhaustion, which gives you three tips on how to avoid dodge exhaustion:
Quote Originally Posted by NiiLoC View Post

    3) when you enter the next stage of a fight (the usual fight has three stages), your entire dodge count will go back to maximum regardless of its previous value..."
PARRYING:Parrying is the most important skill to have in infinity blade. Donald mustard himself said "the key to mastering infinity blade, is to master parrying."

Fortunately chair made parrying alot easier in IB2 than in IB1. As you will already know, you parry an enemy's sword/axe/staff by swiping in line with it. Against it or with it is fine.

Another thing chair added in IB2 with parrying is tiers of parries. You may now perform standard, great and perfect parries. Perfect parries are the best, obviously, with great coming next and standard last. To perform a perfect parry, you must have EXCELLENT timing and direction. If you perform a perfect parry on a strike that would have created a break, you will get the equivalent of using a super for all three weapon classes. (albeit a few less or more stab circles when using light)

BLOCKING:Blocking is important for light, and even more for heavy. When using heavy, you have to block directionally, meaning you can't just hold down one of the block buttons. You must push the block button that corresponds to the direction the attack is coming from. When using light, you don't have to worry about this; you can hold down the block button to your hearts content, unless the attack is a shield bash. (although you can block shield bashes with heavy)

Similar to parrying, you can also do perfect blocks. A perfect block is performed by blocking a split second before the enemy hits you. They are all about timing.

A perfect block does these two things: (thanks gr00ve and litarian)
    1. Makes the damage to your shield 1/3 of what it normally is. (you lose 1/3 of the shield points you normally would)
    2. Blocks elemental damage even if you don't have a shield/gem that blocks that element.

    OTHER EQUIPMENT

Besides swords, you are able to buy and master shields, helmets, armor sets, and rings.

Shields: Shields are used for, you guessed it, blocking! If you are using the dual class, they are still useful for elemental defense. (covered later) Most shields will have elemental defense built in to them, while some will have diamond gem slots for customization of defense. Some will even have both.

The more the cost of the shield, the more blocking points you will have to ward off enemy attacks. (generally) If your shield does not have the elemental defense for the enemy you are facing, you will take damage even if you block his/her attacks. (unless you perform a perfect block)

The best shield in the game is the Kerrak or the Trifecta, they both have many gem slots

Helmets: Helmets are the most versatile of all the equipment. Some of them add attack points, some health, some magic. Some of them have gem slots, some do not.

The best helmet depends on what kind of stats you use, but the Aran is probably the best overall.

Armor Sets: The armor sets have a significant effect on how your character looks. (I know I shouldn’t care about that, but I do :P) The main things they do gameplay-wise are add health to your player, determine how many dodges you can make before you become “exhausted” and change abilities like gold income or XP gain. (with hexagonal gems)
The best armor set is probably the Aegis set, as it provides the best balance of health and stamina. (dodge points)

Rings: The rings are mainly for casting magic, and almost every single one of them can cast magic. The only one that can’t cast it is the Paga Circle, instead, it has a hexagonal gem slot. (which is very useful)

The best rings are the Paga Circle (for its hex gem slot) and the Holy band. (Its magic cannot be defended against and it grants health, while taking it away from the enemy)

For those not wanting to spend the time to acquire the Holy Band, the Ring Of Man is a nice alternative.

    GEMS

NOTE: All credit for gem caps goes to Proph and Darthduck, along with everyone who contributed to their lists.

Gems are a new addition to the infinity blade universe, and they are very useful. There are 6 types of gems:

Hexagonal: These gems add enhancements to your character like increased gold income, or greater XP gain. (they are the most useful gems IMO) They are usually only able to be placed in armor, but the Paga circle is an exception to this; albeit the only exception.

There are 5 types of hexagonal gems:

Gold+: adds percentage increase to all gold income.
XP+: adds percentage increase to all XP.
Shield On magic: Adds a set number of shield points when you use magic.
Health On Magic: Adds a set number of health points when you use magic.
Rare Item Drop: Increases chances of dropping a rare item.
On Perfect Parry Stun Titan 3s: Performing a perfect parry results in a titan being stunned for 3 seconds.
Titan Break+: Adds a set number of hits to parry, dodge, and block breaks.
Rare XP Gem: Gives 1000 XP for each blow made by the player

The caps for these gems are as follows: gold+ is 37%, XP+ is 125%, Shield on magic is 125, Health on magic is 2500, and rare item drop is +25%

Diamond: Before covering these gems, I should clarify what elemental attack/defense is. Elemental attack is something built into some weapons and can do extra damage to an enemy if that enemy does not have defense against that particular element. There are 9 elements: Lightning, poison, dark, light, water, wind, fire, ice, and holy. (the last is not available in any shield or sword)

Lightning, poison, light, and water are gradual drain elements, they don’t do all their damage instantly. Instead, they do it in increments, damaging your enemy even when you’re not attacking it. Dark, wind fire, and

These gems either add elemental defense to your character, or add chances of select items dropping. (gold, items, or weapons)
The elemental defense gems can only defend against one type of element, unless you have a rainbow defense gem. This gem can be forged by using a formula containing all types of defense gems. This formula can be found later in this guide.

The drop+ gems are very useful for getting that special item you want, or gaining more gold. If you couple a good gold drop+ gem with a gold+ percentage (hexagon) gem, your gold income will skyrocket. The item and weapon drop+ gems do just as expected, add to your chances of dropping items and weapons, respectively.

The caps for these gems are as follows: gem drop, item drop, and weapon drop are all +525%, while gold drop is +400%

Square: These gems do one thing and one thing only, add elemental attack, and they can only be placed in weapons. These gems are very similar to elemental defense gems, except that they can be stronger in attack.
The magic cap for these gems is 400 for each type.

Round: These gems can add stats to any 4 of the players attributes: attack, health, magic, and shield. These gems can be placed in every form of equipment.

The cap for magic and attack gems is 200, while health is 50, and shield is 60.

Triangle: There are 4 types of triangle gems: gold, health, shield, and damage. They all add to these attributes when you perform a special task, like scratching an enemy, or performing a perfect parry.

There are many types and caps of these gems, and they are all here: On Block damage 625, on parry damage 1000, on perfect block damage 1000, on perfect parry damage 6250, on block get 375 health, on combo get 250 health, on parry get 375 health, on perfect block get 500 health, on perfect parry get 3125 health, on scratch get 375 health, on combo get 25 shield, on scratch get 125 gold.

Weapons Class Specific: These are only available in the weapons they are for. There are obviously 3 different kinds, one for each class. They can give you XP, gold, decrease titan speed, let you parry any attack, etc.
The parry any attack is for dual, the decrease titan speed is for light, and there isn’t a “special” one for heavy.
Again, all credit for gem caps goes to proph’s New Master Gem List. (http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...m-Forging-List!)

NOTE: In 1.3, there are rare gems. These are forged by forging 3 capped gems of one type together. You must have these to forge a rainbow attack gem. (below) They can only be forged with square and round gems, and are able to be infinitely upgraded.

GEM FORGING: Introduced in version 1.1, and later changed in 1.1.1, and 1.2, is gem forging. This feature allows you to take three gems, and forge them to make a better one. It doesn’t instantly happen, though, so you may pay money to speed up the forge time.
If you simply want stronger version of a gem you own, then collect two more of the same type, and forge them. The result will be a stronger gem most of the time.

    THE RARE DEFENSE GEM

(previously referred to as the rainbow defense gem)

One of the most useful gems in the game is the rainbow defense gem. Instead of equipping and re-equipping different shields and defense gems, you can equip one gem and be safe from all elemental attacks! You must forge this gem, so the formula is below. Thanks to Proph/lifesavorzz/inkslingerzero

Gem #1 - Fire Defense Gem (Diamond) + Ice Defense Gem (Diamond) + Water Defense Gem (Diamond) = Light Defense Gem (Diamond)

Gem #2 - Shock Defense Gem (Diamond) + Poison Defense Gem (Diamond) + Wind Defense Gem (Diamond) = Dark Defense Gem (Diamond)

Rainbow Defense Gem - Gem #1 + Gem #2 + ANY hex gem = Rainbow All Defense Gem (Diamond)

*make sure you forge the light and dark defense gems that were FORGED. You cannot use bought ones.

THE SPECTRUM AND DARKFIRE (RAINBOW) ATTACK GEMS

Found by our own mammoth, these gems are plain awesome. They both do drain or DoT damage, while having different appearances inside weapons (I'll let you discover these for yourself)

    RARE SPECTRUM GEM
    Stats: +500 rainbow attack
Formula: Rare Fire Gem + Rare Ice Gem + Rare Water Gem

    RARE DARKFIRE GEM
    Stats: +500 rainbow attack
Formula: Rare Shock Gem + Rare Poison Gem + Rare Wind Gem

    THE STORE

This section is on everything in the store besides equipment (potions, maps, etc.)

Health Potions: These do just what you would expect, they replenish your health. These can also be found scattered around the castle, so buying them isn’t too practical.

Large/Small Health Regen: These replenish your health during battles. Every second they will replenish 10 or 100 health whether you’re using a small or large one, respectively.

Shield Regen: These replenish shield points, the same way the health regens replenish health.

Double XP Potions: Double your XP for one fight.

Gems: You can buy gems in the store as well as finding them. The gems in the store change each RB, so you should buy one you want as soon as you see it.

IAP’s: In-App-Purchases, they are very controversial in this game. Some people don’t care about them, and some hate them. They are basically in-game money you can buy for real-life money. Be careful about these, though. They can very well ruin your experience with the game.

Treasure Maps: Introduced in version 1.2 of the game, treasure maps have many uses. Some help you find exclusive equipment, some are crucial to the story, and some give you keys/prize wheels.

Once you buy the maps from the store or get them some other way, you can look at them by selecting them from the last tab in the store. They will have a picture of somewhere in the game, and you have to make your way to that area in the game, and tap on the place the picture depicted. You will then be awarded with one of the items described above.

Some maps are pretty difficult to decipher, so tukeykramer has compiled a list of all known maps and where to find the “treasure” shown by them. His chart/guide can be found here.

Normal/Big Gem Wheels: These were introduced in 1.3.1, and they are pretty useful. the normal gem wheel is good for getting XP+ gems, and some low grade gems. While the big gem wheel will always give you a capped (worth $500k) gem, making it useful for making rainbow attack gems.

    CLASH MOBS

Introduced in version 1.1 as a beta, and being taken out of beta in 1.2, is Clash Mobs. These are challenges that everyone playing IB2 can participate in to achieve a reward. Some rrequire you to find a bunch of gold bags, some require you to do as much damage as possible to an enemy.

There are alot of bugs in CM, and they are very annoying. Some challenges will not be the same as their descriptions, and some will flat out not work. Just don't be caught off guard.

If you want more friends for your mob, check out DoomFree's Forum IB Mob Thread, it has tons of players ready to be in your mob.

    NEWGAME+

NG+ is a new game mode in which you can infinitely level up. It is most IB2 players on this forum mode of choice, and mine as well.

A lot of the rules of OG are trashed in NG+. For instance in OG, there is a best piece of equipment for each type of equipment. But in NG+, you should always use the next piece of equipment to master, as you will want to constantly be running through NG’s.

One thing that people tend not to know when entering NG+ is that you lose all your stuff besides base stats and purchased gold. (IAP’s) If you aren’t prepared for this, don’t enter NG+.

I have already written a much more detailed NG+ guide, so I’ll let you check that out for more information.

    ORIGINAL GAME

The game mode of choice for a few of our forum veterans, (darthduck, BLADET, Proph, etc.) this game mode is what you start the game in, and will stay in at least until you beat the GK.

The focus of this game mode in the long term is more focused on skill in battles than skill on leveling, and so you will want to be able to fight for a long time without getting hit.

Many players play OG a little simply to level up some, then they jump to NG+. Just remember that it is up to you.

    SECRET AREAS

There are a few new areas introduced in the 1.2 and 1.3 updates. I already covered the one from 1.2 (vault of tears) earlier, but I'll cover it again briefly.

Vault Of Tears: This area, introduced in 1.2, is accessed by getting all the vile items and vile map, and tapping on the tomb in the room with unlockable weapons.

SkyCages: This area was introduced in 1.3. To access it, you must have beaten thane once. To get there, go on the path straight to thane. When you walk up the stairs to his tower, you will get the option to continue up the stairs, or use a large key to open the skycage area. Once in, you must fight one guardian, and then may fight as many as three prisoners trapped in the skycages

Ryth: Not exactly a secret area, but enemy. To find ryth, you must beat the MX-Goliath, and buy a solar transport weapon from the store. Then on the next RB, you will see his ship fly in on the right top corner.

To get to him, simply go to the MX-G room again, and he will be there pacing back and forth.

Back Game/Negative Rebirths:Well not exactly a secret area but kind of like a secret game mode. To find the negative rebirths you must restart to RB1, and go through the garden until you meet the Genno. (saydhi's personal guard) Fight him normally until it tells you to do a combo. Don't do the combo, instead slash in the same direction for 60 seconds. Then, keep dodging until the dodge exhaustion kills you. You will see two options, select the "????" option. This mode is desirable because of some really useful bonus equipment, and you are able to fight the CLASSIC god king from IB1 at the end of BG!

    BONUS: STORY SUMMARY

HUGE thank to synge32 for preparing this. Please enjoy!

P.S. Please note this summary does not include the story content introduced in the 1.3 update to infinity blade 2.

The following will be a brief plot summary of the Infinity Blade series. This summary has been prepared for Silversabeast’s Intro Guide. With that in mind, I have attempted to make the summary as short as possible while still explaining the key points. Details will be left out, however, this should give the reader a general understanding of what is going on in the storyline.

My Youtube slideshow of all IB1 cutscenes and dialogue can be found here

    Infinity Blade (2010)

In the first Infinity Blade the player takes control of Siris, an apparent medieval knight/warrior, who is equipped with metal armor and sword. Siris has trained his entire life to fight the God King; an immortal being who enslaves the people of Siris’ homeland. Siris plans to avenge his father’s death, who died at the hands of the God King, 20 years prior.

Siris approaches the God Kings castle, the Dark Citadel. Numerous warriors, or “Titans”, that serve the God King confront him. Siris engages each opponent in a sword duel and wins each match with ease. Siris reaches the throne room and challenges the God King, who accepts and reveals the games ultimate weapon, the god killing Infinity Blade.

All long battle ensues with Siris being victorious in the end by taking the Infinity Blade from the God King and using it against him. The God King’s dying words warn Siris of greater dangers that will be hunting him now. Siris pulls the blade from the God King’s body and approaches his throne. Noticing a small, lighted mirror on the armrest, Siris presses the object causing four large mechanical devices to descend from the ceiling and project a large 3D hologram image of an unknown planet with a nearby moon that appears to be shattered.

In the game update “The Deathless Kings”, Siris enters the dungeon area of the castle. Siris uses the Infinity Blade to defeat three deathless that are imprisoned in the Dungeon. After defeating these deathless a fourth, much larger door, opens.

Siris, enters the fourth door and immediately observes hi-tech machinery, robot arms and four large liquid filled tubes, each containing a lifeless body of the armored God-King. Siris is confronted by a large mechanical robot (Zero Mech) and after slaying the robot, a knight (Archarin), wearing the same armor as Siris’ father, emerges from the robot. Archarin explains that he is of the same Kin as Siris and that he chose to serve and taste immortality. Siris is enraged by this traitor and kills him with the Infinity Blade. Archarin warns Siris that “he” will return and claim what is rightfully his.

In the Alternate Ending of this game, during the dual with the God King, Siris is offered the choice to serve the God King. If Siris accepts, the God King explains that he was once a mortal and that there are more evil and corrupt deathless in this world and that he and Siris will vanquish them all. END GAME

    Infinity Blade: Awakening

Infinity Blade: Awakening is a short novella that takes place immediately after the Death of the God King. Siris learns that his victory will result in other deathless seeking revenge on him and anyone near him. Siris returns to the Dark Citadel, looking for answers. Siris learns that the Blade is not activated and that the God King still lives. The return is short lived as the remaining Titans who claimed allegiance to him, quickly betray him and attempt to retrieve the Blade. Siris believes that his only chance at survival is to trust a female human assassin Isa, who had just tried to take his life and the Blade as well. Isa convinces Siris that she is for hire and that he needs here assistance. Siris reluctantly agrees as they both leave the castle.

The novella also presents the point of view of the God King, whose given name is Raidriar. Raidriar is reborn in a different temple and realizes that the Blade was not fully functional when he was killed. Raidriar believes that the death of Archarin has now fully activated the Blade. Raidriar believes that the Worker of Secrets had sent Siris and uses video surveillance to watch as Siris returns to the Dark Citadel.

Raidriar watches the interactions between Isa and Siris. He is confused to her identity and who she serves. He observes the two leave the castle and prepares a surveillance team as he prepares to visit the Worker. During his contemplations, Raidriar makes reference to the fact that technology is only available to the deathless and had been abandoned long ago.

After speaking with Isa, Siris is convinced that he must meet with the Worker of Secrets, the human who crafted the Infinity Blade. Isa explains that the Worker is imprisoned in the Vault of Tears, an eternal punishment for creating the Blade. Isa does not know the location of the Vault but convinces Siris to seek the deathless named Saydhi, as she may know the location

During their journey, Isa and Siris come across a small shape shifting golem named T.E.L., Siris is weary of TEL, believing him to be a spy of Raidriar, however, chooses to keep him at his side. Siris arrives at Saydhi’s estate and quickly eliminates Saydhi’s champions. Saydhi provides the location of the Blade, however, attempts to kill Siris. Siris does away with Saydhi and noticing an obelisk with the Infinity Blade impression, places the blade in the object. The obelisk is a decoy and quickly disappears with the Blade. The obelisk was a trap set by Raidrair, who is now present, Infinity Blade in hand.

Shocked, Siris demands a dual of Raidriar. Raidriar laughs and questions if Siris even knows his true name, Ausar. Raidriar is about to strike Siris with the Infinity Blade when a poisoned arrow strikes Siris in the head, killing him. Raidriar turns to see Isa fleeing the scene and decides he needs to make his own quick departure as well.

Siris wakes in a birthing chamber that had been located by Isa. Siris, now confirmed to be a deathless, demands answers of TEL. TEL advises that he serves Siris, whose true name is Ausar. TEL states that thousands of years ago, Ausar chose to wipe his memories and be reborn as a child after every death. TEL was ordered to administer this process and to never speak a word of it. TEL continues to explain the process in detail, including the fact that Siris, and not his ancestors, has dueled Raidriar for thousands of years. Siris decides that regardless of who he is, he will still seek to free the Worker of Secrets.

Infinity Blade II (The Saydhi’s estate scene is in Awakening and IB2)

Siris begins the game in a similar fashion to IB1. Approaching a large castle, presumably the Vault of Tears, Siris slices his ways through Titans as he attempts to break four seals inside of the castle. Three Blood Sentinels guard seals that are placed throughout the castle. The fourth seal, at the top of a tower, is guarded by Thane, who claims that the Worker is bound by the seals and no mortal can release them all as each seal will kill the person that attempts to break it.

Siris, being deathless himself, is not concerned and begins to break each seal. Each seal results in his death and subsequent rebirth. Siris returns to the castle 4 times, each trip taking several years. During his quest, Siris learns that the castle was once the home of a “Vile” evil, who was slain by Raidriar and believed to be truly dead. Although the Blood Sentinel, The Archivist, questions the death of this “Vile” evil.

In the game update Vault of Tears, Siris acquires the “Vile” armor, blade, helm and shield. Siris, when wearing the armor, now has access to a room below the tomb of an unknown king. Against the advice of TEL, Siris enters the room and views a statue of a man in Vile armor holding a dagger in one hand and the arm of a smiling woman in the other. Female whispers are heard that start with joy and end in screams. Siris then acquires the most games most powerful ring, “The Holy Band” and leaves the room.

Siris returns to the top of the tower and after a long dual with Thane, gains access to the Worker’s prison. The Worker of Secrets informs Siris that the only way that he can be freed is if Raidriar takes his place. Siris then sets out to Saydhi’s estate in an attempt to find Raidriar.

Raidriar appears and is defeated by Siris. Siris keeps Raidriar alive and brings Raidriar and the Infinity Blade back to the Worker. The Worker is freed, however, betrays Siris, and imprisons him. The Worker takes the Infinity Blade and informs Siris that Siris (Ausar) had actually imprisoned him and as he know holds the Infinity Blade all of his rivals will follow him or face true death. The Worker then exits the prison, leaving Siris and Raidriar behind. After the final credits, the last scene of the game shows Isa approaching the castle. END GAME

oh yea, you could include perfect parring and blocking. My trick is that you want to wait a second or 2 longer on when you want to strike, i say to my sely 1 little alligator when it want to block and parry and i usually get perfect parries or blocks or if not great. Also include the triange gem glitch.

i was going to say something about this in the other thread, but oh well this looks nice and you'll have a lot of room for more additions!

here is some more dodge exhaustion info which might be useful in your dodge vs parry section (originally posted in SAB's tip of the day thread):

"When playing with dual or light, the dodge buttons will show how many dodges you can perform before exhaustion. (lost health) they will have notches in them to indicate the number. Originally Posted by NiiLoC.

    3) when you enter the next stage of a fight (the usual fight has three stages), your entire dodge count will go back to maximum regardless of its previous value..."

    more info on gem forging
    1) Gems, as i classify as have alleles ( if i spelled it correctly ) but not in the way of animals. THe dominent and recessive are based on the second gem. When you imput 2 gems they are both recessive, but the third gem determines the dominent, resulting in the final gem. Example, i have a magic 60 and a magic 40 and a rare + 15%, i get a magic 72. This works as long as the first is the same as the second and the first is stronger than the second.I am going to test the results of forging this exept to change the middle to a different color of the gem.

    2) If you use three of the same type of shape of gems but different types, the tendancy for the gem is to be the 4th carectorization of the gem. This sounds confusing, but its accutually very simple. An example is to forge a magic, a health, and a shield. The likly outcome is to be an attack. the 4 degrees are, for circle, attack, health, magic and for triangle it is gold, health, shield, and damage, and shield .This works with circle gems and triangle gems. Also other statistics are that if the first gem for the circle is 23 or greater in stat, it will have a 16% boost of getting that type of gem, but the greatest outcome will be that it will be the nonforged gem.

Sources: me forging tons of gems

( also im putting this on this page to see if i can help SAB more and also nobody looks at my thread for forging )

    SAB,

Your private inbox stated that it was full, I tried to PM you but it would not let me because of this,

    AWESOME thread.

I think Siris98 first reply was a requesting an explanation on how to get a "perfect" parry (or block) as opposed to just getting a regular parry.

Keep up the good work, I'll send you that message when your inbox is cleared

Need some info, guys. What exactly does a perfect block do? I think it makes the same thing as a perfect parry but I'm not sure. lol this completely slipped my mind

EDIT: please also include info on what it does to a break

Perfect Block does nothing to breaks. A perfect block is what happens when you block RIGHT BEFORE the enemy is about to hit you, and reduces shield damage by about 1/3 (1/3 of usual shield damage.)

asianlitarian is correct concerning perfect blocks...they have no effect on a break window/attack window

Perfect block has the ability to defend against elemental attacks which you have no resistance too.

    For example,

Titan has poison attack. You have no poison defense. A normal block would still allow elemental damage to occur, plus you would have damage over time. A perfect block would take no elemental damage, and no damage over time would occur.

@Silversabeast. You say X-SC2 is unlocked in NG+. How? I have mastered it 4 times in NG but it's still blacked out/locked
in OG. The same goes for a few other items. Thanks mate!

Yeah there is an equipment piece of every type unlocked in NG+

The X-SC2, Hess, anarchax, tempest, fusion helmet, cog, and omega Armor.

You can never get these items in OG, no matter how many times you master them in NG, or spin prize wheels, open chests, etc.

Makes you wonder why they have them there in the first place if you can never get them. Looks like OG is over for me! One other thing if I may, after
the blood sentinels are beaten and he puts his arm in to those post things, is there any other outcome than dying? I've tried a milllion times and always die.
    Thanks for the reply!

Hey SAB I was thinking of starting a set of polls that determined the favorite titans of the forum (e.g. favorite dual wielder, monstrosity, etc.) What do you think?

I mean something like a thread with all the polls listed, and then making a bunch of polls for every type of titan.
