how many would buy a scaled NECA Boomer figure?

Unfortunately as many know the Locust Boomer tooling was lost recently which has slightly killed the line for a few, what if they sculpted/rescaled the figure and made a deluxe scaled Boomer at the higher price mark (like their Big Daddy and L4D boomer figures) the figures could even be released in several “sets” to maximise their output and use of tooling, EPIC love their boomers and have created a lot to choose from, there are up to 7 potential releases with which they could get their $ back, the weapons could exist in their current scale just modify the boomer’s arm artic to accommodate.

Boomer – w. boomshot (potential for deluxe double box set
Mauler – w. flail and shield (modified to have the new spin like in GOW:J?)
Grinder – w. mulcher
Flame Boomer – W. scorcher and fuel tank
Butcher – w. Cleaver
Savage Boomer – w. digger and new torso/helm sculpt (I’d buy 3-4 of these beasts!)
Elite Mauler – w. flail and elite shield (potential for deluxe double box set)

Though series 6 was incredibly scarce around here, so I'm left hunting good deals online. These things were just made to be army built, they would be stupid not to capitalize on the fan's requests. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them re-size RAAM as well while they are at it.

Yeah I'm not holding my breath for Boomer news. Seriously, a "best of" wave. I guess we don't have enough Marcus figures in our collections already. I hope they are showing off something worthwhile at the very least.

The Boomer should be remade to at least get the variants out. I don't care if the upscale is there (would be nice, but if it came between boomers or no boomers because of upscale costs, I'd just take boomers).

upscaling isnt totally necessary, even if they just retooled it would still sell! which is why Im trying to show them the support would be there

Myrrah has to be made since she's the head honcho of the Locust, and has the most significant role in Gears since she essnetially gave the go ahead to her troops to start 15 years of war.

I'm not saying stop predators, just chillax on them. It's the only thing they talk about, and they get too much attention for only one line of figures. They have tons more they should talk about/care about too, that's all.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. They had ample time to release these variants, but instead they decided to keep putting the series off. There could have easily been two additional series in the wait between GoW 2 series 6 and GoW 3 series 1. I don't mind the fact they are focusing on other lines like the Predator series. But that is no excuse to not release figures that are simple re-tools of an existing sculpt.

Yeah, they had ample time to release these variants, but instead they decided to keep putting the series off. I would just for the simple reason of it being a gears figure. I mean i keep them all sealed in the packages. So the scale of the figure doesnt really effect me so much.

These need to happen too. The Gears 3/Judgement Drones are rather different than their Gears 1/2 versions, and a simple new head sculpt won't cut it anymore. They at least need to resculpt the left arm to remove the armour that no longer exsists there, and then alter the chest proportions/armour a little.

Onyx guards need to be made since their becoming a pretty big part of the universe, and seeing as how even one of the squaddies in Judgement was training to be one, it'd be a great way to re-use some parts for NECA.

Predator is just predator to me. I'm happy with my old McFarlane AVP 'Scar' predator I can understand why you like the new ones, but my point still stands. They need to chill out on releasing photos/comments about them.

lol other day was 25th anniversary of the original so of course theyr going to talk about it. theyve only been able to get back to sculpting gears very recently so they didnt have much to say on Gears. the McF scar pred was ok, but pretty innaccurate to the movie, n most fans hate the AvP predators lol its the lost predators who have never been done before. the 9 preds at the end of the second movie, only company to do them made what are essentially barbies with predator heads, now theyre being done properly.

back on topic I reckon NECA are going to pull a lot of new characters out at us, since theyve only just got back to it itll be a while before they have anything but when they do itll be "GEARS IN YOUR FACE!"

I do think theyll get back to the boomer at some point, I just have a feeling (and its only been wrong once) then again I am very tired and full of painkillers so...

they only just got back to sculpting Gears in may and their focus will be on judgment meaning the classic locust. I asked them on twitter and they said judgment will be new from ground up, including a new drone next year, this may also mean other remade locust including boomer hopefully. i think they are going to hit gears again in a big way, just a matter of patience
