Thats actually a good question... seeing as the only time we see that weapon is with the Elite Theron. Its not like NECA can just throw it in with a Marcus Fenix... well they can, but it makes 0 sense. Then again, the only thing they can do that would make sense is release a non exclusive Elite Theron.

If they did do a non exclusive Elite Theron it would probably be of the early version of the character:

They would just need to swap the head and do a little repainting.

And that seems like something that would be right up Neca's alley. They would honestly be foolish not to do something along those lines. It's just a simple pop and swap with new paint deco. Plus they know that we the fans will eat it up.

Personally I would not mind seeing another Theron along the 3 that are already coming out. Anything to expand my locust ranks at this point, you know if they get Judgement (which they probably already do) we'll will have to sit through all the human characters first before they make any new locust.

They hinted that next year they're going to do a new, more articulated locust (guessing drone) but it wouldn't suprise me if they did a new boomer, grenadier etc they do listen to us, they just have to work to a budget and balance out with other licenses

Well if I am left to eBay to get this then I will have to pass. People are already scalping him for ridiculous sums of money even though he is not even out.... So I guess that's what that lame "Exclusive Pack" was about, they sold 250 Theron Elites in those packs. I'm not going to pay $250 to get one figure I want from the set. I would rather buy a Hot Toys figure for that price.

is this something that was said in previous years as well?? Because look at the past 2, they are still up there for decent pricing. Also i think that the Lambent Grenadier is much cooler than this repaint theron. So I guess we'll just have to see how it goes...

I would prefer not to get any money ahead of time. If I get extras it would be the sale price and reasonable shipping and packaging price. Not looking to get rich off these, for if I was I would put them on ebay with autographs for ridiculous asking amount.

I usually get two of the Gears exclusives as well. I really don't want to be forced to buy the SDCC pack just to snag a Elite Theron -_-..

My guess is the price will stay around 30-40$ shipped after comic con. Im sure i few will sell here and there for less, but that will be the average. I see some of them listed for 50$ plus, and there are actually people buying them. The only reason why someone would pay double for a figure that hasnt even been released yet is because theyre afraid they will sell out at comic con. Highly doubt that will happen.

Caved in and bought one for £40. Seeing as this is the last one in the series for me, (I can't get the TRU exclusives here) and no more Gears figures until Judgment, which I doubt I'll be collecting, thought I may as well grab it for a complete set (barring TRU exclusives of course).

Won it last night on e-bay from an American seller who did international postage. Add on the incoming import duty (great...) and it's gonna be nearer £48. I thought as it's the last one I'll probably buy, I'll spend the money. I've asked NECA if they can give me a production number as to how many were made. I know they said it wasn't going to be available outside Comic Con which is disappointing. Looked this morning and the prices are going even higher now. Definitely keeping this in its box along with Anthony Carmine.
I'm selling a couple of my old Gamecube and X360 games to make up the money I'm spending on this. I spent £51 last week on the Series 3 figures, so it's been a pretty expensive week.

EDIT - Cheapest one on ebay now is £48, but alot of them are in the £50 range and some even in the £60 range. It makes me sad that the true fans who have collected since the start can't get them without getting ripped off by private sellers.

I just received the elite thereon and it looks great. I mean its such an obvious rehash which sucks cause j just bought series 3 and hot the other therons whcib also are great. Gonna keep this 1 in box til I get another at some point.

It's sad, I may have to skip on this figure. It's the last one I need. Never bought anything from a US seller before so don't know how it works.

Nice find. I wanted to see if you can get one sent to the UK. The website says, if your country is not in the drop down box then we can't send it to you. The ONLY country in their drop-down box is United States...
