I know the level reset question has been done to death but this is more about the update. I don't have the internet at home but can take my xbox to a friends to download DLC, patches etc. The problem I'm having is that after a while the game no longer recognises the DLC (I bought the All Fronts pack). I never clear my system cache so that's not the problem. When I go and re-download the update the game once again recognises the DLC but my level is reset to 1 and achievement progress for all DLC achievements is reset to zero. The achievements I have already unlocked are still unlocked (thank god) but now say, for example Seasoned Gear 1/15 or Never Eat Red Snow 0/40. So my question is, Why does the Game Title Update fail and how do I stop it from happening again? I have heard people say to try deleting your profile and then recover it but I'm not that brave!

Also, the Game Title Update problem has happened with other games, not just Gears of War 2, but levels, achievements, unlocks were not affected. Is there a limit to how many Game Title Updates can be held on the console at once?
