Wont stop loading

Sometimes when I join an arcade game or friends game I don't stop loading and have to reset my xbox

I don't have a solution, but rather than restarting your system, eject the disc. Turning off the console during loading screens is known to reset you Gears player data.

Can you still hear them in the party (if you're in one)? What's your NAT? have you enabled upnp?

NAT is probably most important

As far as I understand this is only an issue when he tries to join his friends in arcade or versus. Thus I doubt it being the cartridge.

BUT, TC, try it! It just might be the issue

I have had similar things happen. It's when I'll be gaming with a party and chose a game type to join and when loading the game I don't get into the game. My party however does get it. I am pretty sure I can still hear my party when this happens. Just have to turn off the XBOX and restart. Usually only happens once in a blue moon for me, but it happens. It sucks, but not the end of the world. Just takes 3 minutes out of my gaming time. LOL. I have an older version of the XBOX. Not that slim pretty one. An old arcade I guess it's called.

I too have an old xbox To save you at least 1,5 minutes, just return to dashboard works for me

If it's completely stuck, remember to eject your disc and NOT turn off immediately as this could cause a reset (rank down to lvl 1)
