    Either your cloth settings are wrong or your physics assets are wrong.

    I don't know PhysX, but to me it looks like the distance threshold (distance it separates the cloth from the collision mesh) is either too high or too low. You also need to make sure you have stuff for the cloth to collide with and that your cloth mesh is properly modeled so it has vertices in places where it might collide. Also, for clothing try and skin parts of the mesh that don't really need simulation, like stuff that's tight on the torso that way it's not trying to simulate areas where it's complicated and wouldn't normally move much anyways.

    UDK's built in cloth simulation is not very good and should be avoided on characters. Look into APEX clothing instead as I believe it produces much more stable results. UDK's cloth tends to randomly bounce for some weird reason and the settings don't seem to help solve the problem.

    @hitpawz
    you completely correct it does act wierd, and i agree with you on the apex part as well it seams more well suided for coth while phyx cloth that is build into udk is better for flags and stuff like that

    i have gotten my hands on the apex lab and add in for the maya 2011 student version so ill try working with apex instead.

    thx for the advice
    ^^
