Default Queen Myrrah not quite the ideal leader?

Ok, to me the Queen just seemed waaaaayyyy out of place. She looked human, yet she was surrounded by these reptilian humanoid freaks. Referring to the games, there is no explanation as to how she became queen, or as to why she looks human. Also, she seems to "british royalty-ish" for the savagery wrought out by the locust. Its comparable to Queen elizabeth being the figurhead to the African Zulu tribe, it just doesnt add up. In my eyes, RAAM was the perfect leader for the locust. Stern, merciless, intimidating. The question is who would be his second in command, because in my eyes Skorge was just terrible. (this is all what if by the way)

Also, if there is any insight given in books or comics, please say so. I have not read any of them

    We got a newbie...

There's probably a reason why Myrrah became leader. Some reason.

We have no idea how the higher areas of the locust hierarchy work. We know that Skorge was likely in charge of the religious side of things and that RAAM was the military leader, but we have no idea what Myrrah's function was. She probably initiated the war, but RAAM did most of the work by the looks of things.

    Like I said, it's a bit hazy.

I suck with the judgment Gnasher and I can admit that. You don't see me complaining about the gun.

It's one of those things that keeps people interested and asking questions.

Does the Queen of any insect colony look like them? No. The queen is the supreme leader of the horde, Skorge controls the Rift Worm, RAAM was one of her generals, if not the supreme general.

They're a great people but I think OP must've been referring to them under Cetshwayo or something.
