Default Last level on insane is INSANE

I finally got around doing the campaign on insane and today i finally reached the last level with my friend. We breezed through it pretty easy. But the boss fight with the Queen is just torture. Its unreal how hard it is even with the mutators (infinite ammo and super reload) to beat her. The dam guards dont stop coming and the shriekers are just as annoying. Plus we have her flying around burning us. Not only have we died but we've also lost because shes broken through the generator and killed Adam Fenix. We later played with three and then four people and couldn't beat it. We finally gave up. Has anyone beat it on co-op!? Any suggestions!?

The more pillars she destroys, the less Guards, I think... Use the elevator as a cover, and flank that b*tch

If you have super reload, 1 person can bang myrrah off the tower no problem, have the others strictly focus on guards/shriekers. Most of the guards you can hear when they come because they throw the grappling hooks over the railings. If you shoot the grappling hooks, the enemies don't even make it up they just fall off the side. Shriekers should be easy with super reload, because you shoot one and they practically all die. I would pick a person to focus on the hammer of dawn attacks, have someone worry about guards, and have someone focus on myrrah when she's on the tower.

My tip is keeping playing, my friends and I have figured out this glitch to where if you keep retrying on insane at eventually the guards will not spawn or only a few will spawn. It does take a few times for this to occur but this is what happened to me and a few other people and it worked. So try that if it doesn't work then add me on live and I will help you out.

I've done it; we had no mutators it was no joke. You have to have two focus just on the Queen and the other two focus on guards/screamers. The only way is to knuckle up and keep trying till you get it.

I did it alone no mutators. Have to get the railings destroyed so the palace guards can't climb up.

i did it with Big heads, super realod and infinite ammo. Had only a couple of guards and 1 shreiker. Not sure if big heads effects that though.

The way I did it on co-op was on standard instead of arcade. One guy in the party set his difficulty to insane while the rest of us set ours to casual. After the first guy got his achievement, he switched to casual and somebody else switched to insane until he got his achievement. Rinse and repeat until everyone in the party gets the achievement for beating the campaign on insane.

I did it solo with the following mutators, super reload, infinite ammo and "Vampire". Vampire was a must for me, as long as your shooting an enemy your health will regenerate faster if getting shot.
I can do a wheelie on a unicycle, slam a revolving door and win a game of Connect Four in only 3 moves.

it's tough without mutators, and really tough with hard mutators. But, if you use easy mutators, it's pretty easy, if you have super reload and have an active, you can kill pretty much everything very quickly. Just keep your head down, and you'll breeze right through it. Just keep in mind that when you are dropping enemies with just a few bullets, (if you have super reload on) the enemies will kill you just as quickly. It gets easy to become brave with easy mutators on, then you get the reality check every now and then that it's on insane.

I remember attempting Myrrah at least 20 times. The first stage is easy, the second is predictable but the third one is a pure torture. One of the conditions to winning is USE EVERY PERFECT RELOAD YOU GET. I tried to stay as far from the guards as possible just shooting her. After several tries I figured ou the scheme they were showing up and finally beat her. The funny part was that I didn't get the achivement. I happened to have two saves from the battle, one with Hummerburst and one with Lancer. After beating her twice I still didn't get the cheevo only to find out that I beat one of the final chapters on Hardcore.

Arcade mode with two mutators was a breeze.

I suggest using the comet mutator. It's still hard but by using the mutator you can run around in circles every time somebody dies without taking any damage. It was really helpful for me because I just waited until my partner respawned then started shooting the tempest so I hope this helps.

The main issue I had was the azura submarine part, and then the Myrah boss battle. Though I didn't have many mutators at the time and such.

I like a lot of people had to do it on my own to beat the last boss on insane. I tried at least 30 different times on co op to beat the game and always failed. I think it only took me about 6 to do it on my own

I had no problem what so ever when I first went through this alone on insane. But when me and 3 friends went to do it together, it seemed like hell. A little tip for you that ended up helping us beat it was using the comet mutator.
Lately I've been wondering what's been going on, I've been here before but I don't remember when and every time we get to where we're entering, I feel my beliefs and hopes surrendering.
