Add join in session for gears 3 horde mode(like gears 2 social horde)

horde in gears 3 is a joke nowadays, people quiting in rd 1 because the same dull maps are coming up, we have all the dlc maps and get stuck playing trashball or oldtown? social horde in gears 2 was one of the best things to happen to gears 2, i dont know why it wasnt carried over, it just doesnt make sense to me, its a very valuable feature and anyone stating otherwise is a tard. got 50 modes and playlists for multiplayer but nothing for horde, zero creativity going into horde in gears 3? PLEASE ADD JOIN IN SESSION FOR GEARS 3 HORDE MODE LIKE THAT IN GEARS 2 CALLED SOCIAL HORDE! maybe a dlc horde playlist!

Zero creativity going into Horde Mode? If I remember correctly, they released a whole DLC based on Horde. Anyways, I'm with you on this one. They should've kept session join-ins. But multiplayer Horde is BS. Grab some friends and play Horde yourselves. They can join in progress, even if you're not in private match.

yeah I know, there are a lot of threads made for this one, but they dont work on it, on gears 2 they did it after 1-2 years after release, so..., and they had problems to make guardian in private, they say they can't fix it, so maybe they gonna have the same kind of problem with the social matches, they may also patch it for beast when they finally can do it, sometimes you playing a nice fast run and then on wave 8 -an idiot leaves because he dont know this gametype is made for fastplaying- and suddenly it takes 2 min for finishing the wave, beybey new timescore... lmfao

Epic has a limited amount of people and time and I don't know if they have any plans for another Gears 3 Title Update. But if another TU is implemented, please include a DLC playlist for Horde. I'm not a programmer but that seems simple enough.

Friends can join if they wish. We're talking about the matchmaking system putting new, random players into Horde games to replace players who have left.

This was something I was going to post before I saw your thread... so if I don't see any replies to mine I may bring it up again on the forum. I agree with you with this also, its so annoying people leaving the Horde game especially when they don't get the map they want or if someone has erected the first command post where people didn't want it to be. Most annoying I've experienced is reaching Wave 48-50 and all leaving when they get frustrated having to replay the wave, then eventually ending up the only player left. You're LIKE because you've just spent a good 3-4hrs getting that far nothing, especially when none of your Gears friends are online to invite to finish off the Horde.

I suggest they have a QUICK PLAY opition for Horde which allows a player to join a Horde game at any Wave so long as there is a available slot, that way when people back-out (leave) Horde, others can join you in your quest to reaching and finishing Wave 50. Keep the Standard opition for those who want to start from Wave 1 but if players leave it becomes a Quick Play game if you get what I'm saying, so that the empty slot is quickly filled again.

It's very clear that we all want atleast one more edition to gears 3 horde mode and its adding a social horde type mode to horde, I'm still amazed they left it out to begin with? I can't see how they thought it wasn't necessary, with out a social horde mode that allows people , anyone to join session is ridiculous. I hope they realize before people just don't even play anymore or there like yeah horde mode was ok but its unplayable because everyone quits.

The problem with join in horde is that your only option is standard or private so pretty much people don't wanna be marcus he's probably the most hated character in multiplayer tbh

From what i recall in gears 2's social horde u joined w ur character, to be honest if it ment having social horde in gears 3 and having to be Marcus all the time then im ok w that it's better then nothing. Still hoping they add a social horde or join in session for gears 3

That happens because there's too many skins, and the game can't load them all so it loads only what people select, and even then if you join late you still become Marcus. It has an easy solution though. Just load more skins. I'm not saying load every single skin, but is it really that much harder to load a few skins, and then instead of defaulting someone to Marcus default them to one of those. I mean, you get defaulted to Marcus every single time, even in versus. Couldn't they at the least switch the default character.

Horde is unplayable. All it takes is one person to leave, and that's pretty much the end of the match. People don't want to stick around with a group of 4 because it's destined for failure. I'm not saying you can't do Horde on normal with 4 people, but every person lost makes it that much harder for everyone else. It's just not worth it. I'm still crossing my fingers hoping that Epic throws in another TU that fixes it because it has to be one of the biggest oversight's that they have made.

I created this awhile back im very sure its fallen on deaf ears, such a waste to, it would really keep us vets of gears happy and playing horde? Its ludicrous its not in the game.
