Colonel Loomis:

"Whenever you a grow franchise there's a certain lever of betrayal, says Epics Games directer of production Rod Fergusson. On PCF's involvement with Judgment

"People can fly is heavily involved in both the campaign and multiplayer, but especially the campaign. This is something we have initiated. We proposed the story and the gameplay hooks. Basically everything about campaign was initiated by People Can Fly. Obviously there is heavy involvement from Epic. I like to think about as the best of both worlds. On one hand we bring something fresh to the franchise, but on the other hand we have the original creators making sure it's still Gears."

"Judgment begins 15 years before Gears of War, with Baird and the rest of Killo Squad standing trial for transgression against the Coalition of Governments. The testimonies are being over seen by Colonel Loomis, a by the-books COG leader who accused the team of desertion, cowardice, trespassing, theft of experiment military tech and treason."

Ok heres what we got for MP. It's class based, Locust classes wretches, tickers, kantus , Grenadier mauler blood mounts, corpses and serapedes.

Cog classes are as follows.

Baird-engineer=Weapons: gnasher and blowtorch,Special abilities: sentry turret, tip: blowtorch repairs damaged fortifications
Cole-Soldier= lancer and boomshot, deploy ammo crates, toss amo to engineer to give him infinite blowtorch ammo
sofia- medic= lancer and snub pistol, stim gas gernade, toss gernade at downed allies to revive them
garron-scout= longshot and snub, beacon gernade, climb perches for better sniping leverage


And of of course overrun mode - cog vs locust. similar to DOTA or Team Fortress or at least takes a mod from.

Kilo Squad bios:

Damon Baird:

Before this sarcastic, genius mechanic went on to help Marcus Fenix save the world, Baird worked his way through the Gears ranks. He’s always quick to joke, but Judgment suggests there’s more to his character than being a comedian.


Augustus Cole:

A former Thrash Ball player turned soldier the "Cole Train" became famous in Sera for his on-feild performance and boisterous demeanour. Cole met Baird soon after enlisting, and the two quickly became best friends.

Garron Paduk:

A miltia refuge from the Union of Independent Republics. Garron comes from the other side of The Pendulum Wars. He brings a new perspective and brush personality to Kilo. Garron is the devil on Baird's shoulder that say's "Let's blow stuff up."

Sophia Hendricks:

A cadet from the onyx guard academy, she is more in line with colonel loomis by the book approach to combat. E-day halted her path to graduation from the academy, but she is still worth the soldier. She is the opposite of Garron, ready to suggest informing superior officers of every deviation from protocol.

Locust - OverRun mode

Wretch
Role: Leap over hazards, clim perches.
Special Ability: Stunning scream.
Tip: Travel in packs and stagger screams for maximum stunnig power.

Ticker
Role: Eat fortifications, eat grenades, detonate.
Special Ability: Speed boost.
Tip: Can be kicked over barriers by grenadiers.

Kantus
Role: Hammerburst rifle, heal friendly units, ride bloodmounts.
Special Ability: Chain heal.
Tip: Support valuable units like Corpser and Mauler with healing.

Grenadier
Role: Lancer rifle, Gnasher, ride Bloodmounts.
Special Ability: Frag Grenade.
Tip: Throw grenade at COG turret to cause deadly explosion near enemies.

Bloodmount
Role: Melee enemies/fortifications, be ridden by Grenadier and Kantus.
Special Ability: Halve the cooldown time on rider's special ability (passive)
Tip: Carry a mounted Kantus behind cover while his heal recharges.

Mauler
Role: Devastate fortifications and COG soldiers with flail and shield.
Special Ability: Spinning spike shield.
Tip: Aim the reticle at enemies while shield spins to deflect bullets back at COGs.

Serapede
Role: Eat through barriers, destory COGs, ranged support.
Special Ability: Spit poison.
Tip: Have two Serapedes overlap to protect one another's vulnerable rears.

Corpser
Role: Demolish fortifications and COGs with heavy melee.
Special Ability: Burrow and move underground.
Tip: Armored legs reduce damage from the front.

Kinda like a collectable their will be glowing objects spread out across the campaign, if you find one you can active a bonus objective, if you succeed in this objective you will be reward with a "declassified testimony" that will add more information that was previously unsaid. Ex: In a testimony Baird said Kilo was attacked by wretches. But if you succeeded in the objective he will add that they were glowing, had darker skin and exploded.

People Can Fly and Epic on GOWJ. - New.

New Info

Coming Early 2013. STILL 3rd person. Other Multiplayer modes confirmed. None named yet.

I just got home from E3. There is a lot of pages of stuff here lol. Let me give you guys some info we learned while out there.

We talked to Quinn a lot about MP. This is Overrun he didn't want to give any details about other MP. Like whether all MP will be class based. So we are not 100% sure about any other MP at this point. The Soldier class will be tweaked for release. Staring with Boomshot is way OP. Our GCON team easily held off the Locust for the full 6 mins with the help from this class.

With Overrun they designed the maps with lanes like LoL. in a sense. Again Quinn didn't want to give details about other Game modes.

Overrun wasn't the full game mode at E3. It was a much condensed version so people could get thru it quicker and more people could play. The generator destroying is the last objective in the game mode. With other objectives needing to be completed to get to that point.

Release is suppose to be early 2013. I can easily see this being pushed to fall 2013 same as Gears 3. That is just me speculating thos.
