What goes good with Team Metal?

The other day, I bought the Team Metal skin off the marketplace, and have been testing out different combinations of weapon skins since then. I have been using Team Metal on Assault Rifles, and different skins on the Shotguns. So far, this is what I've found to look really good. (Locust loadout looks better in my opinion.)

COG:
Lancer - Team Metal
Hammerburst - Team Metal
Retro Lancer - Team Metal

Gnasher Shotgun - Gold
Sawed-Off Shotgun - Gold

Locust:
Lancer - Team Metal
Hammerburst - Team Metal
Retro Lancer - Team Metal

Gnasher Shotgun - Ivory
Sawed-Off Shotgun - Ivory.

Anyone have any suggestions on what looks good with Team Metal?
I prefer skins that aren't animated, but feel free to give suggestions.

I don't have Team Metal, but I think it goes well with other similar 'shiny, platy' skins.

So I would say Gold and Chrome are definite matches. (When you're a 'Classic Cog', TM Rifle + Chrome Shotty = awesome!).

Ivory as you say is a good fit.

Besides those three though, I'm struggling to think what else would work...

Me personally, I would go for Cog (TM Rifle + Chrome Shotty) and Locust (TM Rifle + Gold Shotty) on initial reflection, purely because I would use A.Carmine for the Chromey look and Golden Hunter for the Goldey look.

I always run the same skin, or skins that look alike(i.e red re-up omen, gold omen, etc.).

I'm really picky about that :|

I used to rock team metal with team insignia. I thought it looked sick.

Trying this now.

Edit: This..looks..AMAZING! I don't like it as much as Ivory on the Shotgun, but if I need to mix things up, this will be a definite consideration.

I notice you use a SO. That'll be a pain to get Chrome for.

I don't normally use the SO. I'm just currently using it because I need to Onyx it :P but yes, it will be a pain :/ that will probably be the only chrome I won't be able to get.

Yeah. It's the only one I haven't got, and I don't think I'll ever get it...

There should be some other way to get it, because I just checked the requirements out for Gears pc, and my graphics card wouldn't even support it... >

I actually think it's okay to have one 'really, really unachievable' skin, like the Chrome SO. Of course if I used the SO regularly, I may not be so happy letting it remain locked.

Well, yes, I see what you mean, but it should have at least been something more difficult rather than something that would take a high end gaming computer. I would have preferred it to be something among the lines of skill rather than if you have enough money.

I used to use team metal lancer with chrome Gnasher or the other way around. Looks nice but I prefer flaming skins. Flame Gnasher + electric lancer, true forces of nature

Chrome works well with Team metal.
Team metal looks amazing on thrashball drone and Cole train/cole train le.

I like Team Metal, Team Distress, Team Insignia or Team Pulse.

I usually alternate between the 4 of them, because they all go well together

I put team metal on the shotgun and then change between lightning, electric and oil slick. Electric is also a team based colour skin.

For the Cog I recommend any Carmine.

and the locust favours in Savage Grenadier Elite.

That is my exact load-out i have been using for a few weeks. Will need to try the Team Insignia/Metal though that was suggested later in the thread!

Yeah

The Ivory skin looks pretty beast with any solid color skin :P I just found it to look best with TM so far

Not really fond of this one to be honest. I think it's because of the difference in the shades of TM and MLG. Or because TM is glossy/shiny and MLG is Matte
