I can't play online???

I was playing online just fine this morning I step out for a few minutes and when I came back a message came up saying the my current gamer profile setting does not allow me to play games online. and about a week ago all my stats were delete and I had to start from level 1 and now is not letting me play online can you please tell me why this is happening...???/

What you describe regarding not being able to play online sounds as though your gamertag has been banned from online play in Gears. The loss of stats that occurred prior is most likely a rank reset resulting from a glitch and is totally unrelated. Bans are issued for many reasons including modding your stats/rank/unlocks and idle boosting online. They can also be transferred if a banned gamertag is used on your console or you use your gamertag on a banned console. All bans issued for these reasons are permanent. If you believe none of the aforementioned reasons to be applicable to you, I suggest you contact a forum admin via the link at the bottom of the page and they will be able to specify the reason your account has been banned. Please be patient if you choose to do so as it may take several days for someone to get back to you with the applicable information.
