Default RE: Joveus Forum Locust Origins SIRES

Okay, so if you haven't read Joveus' forum on the Locust Origin, check it out.

This thread is about the Sires, the parents of the Locust Horde. Over the past three games and several comic and novel books, we have fought and killed high thousands to low millions, adding on to those lost in the Lambent war before E-Day.

What we know is that Sires are poisoned, infected Imulsion Humans. They were studied at New Hope and while there gave birth to children with abnormalities. Also, Imulsion causes sterility in lifeforms. So, this is what I found out.

Replaying the New Hope Segement, I counted to (from ALL we were allowed to see) exactly 164 Stasis Tanks. Now, if these were just males or if every Sire reproduced invitro, here are the numbers:

For one child per every Sire: 164
For two children per every Sire: 328
For three children per every Sire: 492
For four children per every Sire (if that many): 656

And these are the numbers if each Sire was paired with one another in a traditional sense:
For one children per couple: 82
For two children per couple: 164
For three children per couple: 246
For four children per couple: 328

Now, first of all is we do not know the exact number. Second of all is Imulsion does not cause AUTOMATIC sterility. It goes down the more generations made. So maybe even the Locust managed to reproduce way more. It works like this: If you have Imuslion inside of you, about 30% of your eggs or sperm is sterile. If you have three kids, one of them will be sterile, and on and on.

Lets also not forget about Human Processing. There is a genetic signature in which Humans translate to Sire then Locust. So over the years, thousands to millions of people have been unaccounted for, they were kidnapped, processed, and turned into Locust. Plus, Locust really didn't have enough people in the first place. They manage to kill 25% of the Human popluation in one day, but then spend the next 17 years trying to kill the 1%.

Good thread. I dont follow the gears story outside the games so I cant really comment however dom marcus took a direct route through the facility there could have been a lot more tanks in rooms off to the side off to the side. Did you see any side doors ????
I hate the word Adapt when it is used in the context of shooters. All it is is a bad justification for when your favorite weapon is onto a good thing. Near launch all the sawed off fans were saying adapt to the gnasher community. After the sawed off was nerfed the sawed off community complained and guess what the gnasher fans were saying.... thats right adapt. Please take the time to read this thread

No, not really. But that alone is staggering, and plus, they could have reproduced a lot more before they became sterile.

Locust are definetly can be born although some do say they are only created. If you go to gears 1 multiplayer charachter prefereces and select locust sniper his discription is "Trained from birth to destroy coalition troops"

We're talking billions of locusts here it's hard believe all these locusts were created or processed! A lot of theories say humans were captured and turned into drones boomers etc but surely the cog would have noticed billions of people randomly disappearing? They must have children I understand their origin being the children of imulsion infected miners but surely this species can breed
