My account got reset

I was a red level 68 and my account got rest to zero. I have no more onyx medals or ribbons. This is horse crap. I played for so long to get that far. Epic fix this crap.

If you haven't played a match as a level 1, try deleting your player data in yout main memory unit and rebooting Gears 3. Hope this helps

Sorry to hear about that man. I've been there myself, back in December. Join the masses and don't bother holding your breath waiting for a fix.

If you saw you was lvl 1 why continue playing ? you should have come here straight away and looked for a way to get your level back

It's too late. He doesn't have to play a match. The minute he presses start at the menu he's reset.

If you saw you was lvl 1 why continue playing ? you should have come here straight away and looked for a way to get your level back

Him continuing playing doesn't matter. If he saw he was a level 1 that means he already pressed start and accessed the servers, the minute this happens the save overwrite server side occurred.

I joined at a time when i was looking for other warzoners to play with. I have not been on this forum since then!!! Most people who are not looking for help or other things have no need to be on here. Or I may be the rare one who doesn't have a need to be on here since then!!!

No offense but if you had lost everything that you had no control over and spent playing TDM 2822 matches to get that close to ONYX to loose it as well as your other medals you would be pretty upset. You would want an asnwer to as why this was never mentioned by EPIC publicly on facebook or twitter so that others could have taken pre-cautions. I had no knowledge about this until it happened to me. So of course I am going to be pissed off!!!

Lol and im sure its super annoying to lose all that but it doesnt stop you doing it again does it? I could understand if you where like 2 onyx medals away from Seriously 3.0. All im trying to say is that there isnt any need to be this angry, ive known people who have been reset more than once and they still play and they still enjoy the game.

Good for them. On my friends list the only people playing this game is me and my two teenagers. The others have quit playing GOW 3 because of all its issue's. Iam playing it again and it does suck. But you have no right telling me how I should feel plain and simple. It is my right to be upset and vent about it just like anyone else who will be pissed off at Epic because they got reset.

I stil feel like there should be some kind of instructions for backup in these games, such a small percentage of the players are on this site, so the vast majority probably have no idea about backups, or that resets can even occur.

I had no idea there was even an issue until it happened to me. That is why I wish EPIC would have addressed this when people where letting them know this was happening so that we could have taken the pre-cautionary steps to backup our files. That little bit of info would have saved hundreds if not even thousands of peoples hard work.
